I agree. At this point, I take D4vd's silence and hiding to mean he's done something illegal or shameful, even if not murder. Could be a pedo crime, harboring a runaway, child endangerment, defiling a corpse, concealing a death, etc. He knew something happened to her. moo

To be fair, if he makes any kind of statement, or stays silent, he's damned either way. Everyone is going to read things into a statement, or complain about what was omitted, given her age, the fact she was a runaway, and the nature of their relationship. His best bet was probably to stay silent and I'm sure any legal team he's engaged would agree.

So people close to D4vd knew and/or knew of Celeste as his girlfriend of at least some amount of time, maybe even a few years' time. Some (all?) who have spoken about it since the body was discovered claim they thought she was a 19 year old university student before she died.

Which would STILL mean they knew she was very much underage up until recently, despite the fact that she was known to be in a girlfriend-boyfriend relationship with D4vd. Unless D4vd kept the relationship more secret in the beginning, I guess. He may have been trying to sell their background/origin story as him having only met her in the last year to year and a half or so, which would have made her not a minor, off limits to him as such,.

If so, I would bet that people in his crew and entourage, maybe even his fans, knew that this story wasn't entirely accurate, even if they did go along with it.

Playing devils advocate here, but David is 20 and people supposedly believed Celeste to be 19. Regardless of how far back their relationship went, people allegedly believed there was only a year between them. Even a few years back they'd still be suitable ages to date each other, if you believed the year difference. 18 and 17, 16 and 15, whatever, it's certainly more acceptable for a younger teen to date someone just a year older. Everyone has their personal beliefs as to when teens should start dating, but keeping the ages close at that stage is important, due to maturity and experience levels.

Did anyone else look at the photos of the car before it was towed? I'm curious how it got that damage to the rear bumper and behind the front wheels... Long enough ago for dust to settle - any idea how long that takes in that neighborhood? I know on a windy day, things can get covered pretty quickly.

Idk about California, but where I am we occasionally get this weird dusty rain that covers all the cars on the street in a layer of dust in a very short space of time
