TMZ being TMZ! It's unclear who contacted whom first.

TMZ contacted Celeste's mother, who told us she felt the body found in the Tesla might be her daughter. She said the police description -- which included a tattoo on her finger with the letters "Shhh..." -- matched her daughter's.

TMZ forwarded that information to LAPD's Robbery Homicide Division.

So, for TMZ to know who the victim’s mother is, they would’ve already had to know the victim’s identity. Saying “TMZ forwarded that information to LAPD” doesn’t really make sense.

And it also makes zero sense that the mother would contact TMZ instead of reaching out to the LAPD or the officer listed on the MP flyer.

She was approximately 5'1" tall, weighed around 71 pounds, and was wearing a tube top, black leggings, yellow metal stud earrings, and a metal chain bracelet, with a tattoo on her right index finger reading “Shhh…”. The LAPD has classified the case as a death investigation.

Uh.... 71 lbs???? I'm 5'1" so I know what I'm talking about, but it'll still have to be JMO. I remember when I was at my tiniest (and I was TINY and wore size zero pants. Yes, they make size zero. They also make size double zero because I worked with a gal who was that size). Neither of us were anywhere NEAR 71 lbs!!! Heck, that's just a squeak over the 60's by 2 lbs.

I was 98 lbs and super duper skinny. No way in heck could I have gotten down to 71 lbs without being a walking, talking skeleton. That is WAY too skinny. I wouldn't be surprised if a heavy drug addiction was involved with her lack of weight. Or a really bad case of anorexia cuz that is LITTLE IMO.

the shhh. . . tattoo became popular in 2008 when Rihanna got one on her right index finger. I was not aware D4vid also has one but am not surprised, quite few celebrities (lindsey lohan, lilly allen, etc) and in the hip hop world world got them MOO

If D4vid was with this girl then yep, disgusting. I think this child was trafficked. The Mexico thing causes me even more concern in that direction.

Now that they know who she is, I am sure LE is getting warrants for her phone if she had one and socials and possibly D4vd as well. If they were together there is a signal of that somewhere. She wasn't hanging out with a star without bragging to somebody.

I'm still convinced D4vd was set up. He is living his dream life... Why would he kill someone and leave the body in his own car? There is an ocean, mountains and a desert. Dozens of places where he could have disposed of the body... It doesn't make any sense.

Celeste’s mother also showed one more piece of information that is hard to avoid: that her daughter had a boyfriend called David. Whilst “David” is hardly a rare name, a similarity to the painter’s name has contributed yet another creepy aspect.

He has to be the first person LE looks at. She disappeared, she has a boyfriend named David, he gets the same tattoo, They find her body in his car. Time of death is about the time he went on tour. He didn't report her missing, so if they were an item, which remains to be seen, he has some explaining to do.

But also to your point- stupid to dump her in your own car even if you did have some plan that it would be stolen

Added: the telematics from the car are going to be a gold mine.

I agree with everything you said, and that’s exactly why I don’t understand how she wasn’t found sooner... and alive. CR was only 11 in the first photo of them together, and 13 when she went missing for the third and final time in 2024. She was still a child. If the mother knew who the boyfriend was, I’m sure law enforcement would have located and questioned him about CR's whereabouts.

I was thinking about this, and.. Honestly? He almost got away with it.

If it wasn't for the workers that noticed the smell, I would just about guarantee the vehicle would have been smashed up and she never would of been found.

From what I have been reading, I have a strong suspicion that she wasn't really missing, and that her mother knew where she was and who she was with. Sounds like everyone failed this poor girl and it's only a matter of time until TMZ picks up on the details being shared about this situation.

Wouldn’t he have been arrested right away? Law enforcement questioned him and let him continue with his tour, only stating "he is cooperating".

I believe they already have the telematics, and probably a lot more, that they’re not sharing with the public. It's an ongoing investigation.

Ehh, not necesarrily. Especially not with the coroners not listing an exact cause of death yet.
Could also be testing different things for fingerprints, dna, etc to ensure they 100% have more than enough to convict.

That, too, they just may not be wanting to scare him into taking off to a different country and not coming back.. until they have all of that ^
