CA- Body (IDd as Celeste Rivas Hernandez) found in vehicle at Hollywood tow yard, abandoned Tesla registered to singer D4vd – 8 September 2025

Am I reading this correctly? It lists the date of death as 9/8/2025, but isn’t that the day they found her?
They usually list date of finding the body as the date of death, initially. Then later, after investigations and Medical Examiner reports, they can revise that date.

Even a kid will hide when the does something wrong. Why would he hide a body of a girl he loved in his own car he owned? I say he was set up. People who play games get swatted, who's to say someone is not setting him up. I know he was with her and she was a kid but think about it, who would hide person they killed in their own car.......
A few possibilities: Someone who thinks Homicide is Romantic?
Someone who has had a psychotic break?
The person imbued with the task of dumping the car didn't show up for work?
Denial? Disorganized? Systematized amnesia?
Maybe the good D wanted the bad Itami stopped?
(The only thief who is caught, is the thief who wants to be caught.)

Amazing how much money it appears that D4vd has.

His net worth is only 2-3 million. Resting a $20,000 house a month, doesn't seem like a smart money move.
I think his manager was renting the house, probably with the help of Interscope Records. They like their singers to be living large in flashy mansions so it is often a write off for them financially to rent the house.

Interesting. Amazing how much money there is in this industry. He took off on Spotify. Over 2 million Instagram followers.

This article seems to be quite comprehensive.

And do we know this is his car?

One possibility that comes to mind is that, while D4vd might have had access to the Tesla, it might actually have been someone else's. This makes sense to me: A record company might well want to have vehicles and homes ready for up and coming new artists, without necessarily giving them the money that they would need for their rock star lifestyle.
The car was registered in D4's name, as the owner.

This tiktok is dated Dec 2024: “D4vd is paying off kids to hide his little secret: that he’s dating a minor. This picture is from someone who knew the story and told me everything.”

the new generation thinks posting a tiktok comment or video will somehow bring justice. What if your video doesn’t get seen by anyone (as was the case here)? The comments are even worse. It’s like the lowest effort thing you can do is comment your insider information on a Random video on the internet. NO ONE will read it. Try making some phone calls or send tips online to fbi, police, trafficking task forces, etc. they don’t even do that.

This kid posted a video that got zero traction, and then continued on with his life knowing that a minor is basically kidnapped. Same with the random 2024 discord comments l ( no one saw the comments until now)..

If the gen z want to “ring the alarm” about a situation, try making some phone calls! Chances are no one will see your TikTok
not to be pedantic, but this generation is online, period. for better or for worse, that’s where these discussions are relevant. if you want to signal boost, you do it online to your cohort. D4 went viral online, this is who he’s famous to — tktokkers. it’s not just my generation, it’s the way the world now communicates.

obviously, the ideal reaction is to always contact LEO with this type of info especially when regarding a minor.

The following is my opinion only.

OK, let’s assume for just a second that you are right, that he truly loved this girl (child) and he’s innocent and somebody else killed her. So he’s off being a star and doing shows thinking everything is normal, but he can’t get in contact with her. Hours turn into days with radio silence. Wouldn’t he be worried? Panicking? Frantic?? But sure maybe whoever killed her was using her phone to text him.
THEN… he hears they have found a body in the trunk of his car, followed by reports that it’s a young girl, and yet he’s still performing concerts like nothing has happened? Really??????

The guy had insider information about a kidnapped child. He Needed to call the fbi. Period. The generation being online is exactly my critique. This guy could have saved her by calling different authorities but preferred to try to get likes and followers. He put almost zero effort after being told something very very important.

The new generation is missing logical thinking. You don’t post information into the ether (tiktok or discord). The chance of a random comment or video being seen by someone of authority is very low. You need to get ahead of that and make paper trails and make phone calls and emails.

The thing is though that her own family called LE and reported her missing and knew she was dating him and searched and did missing posters, and that didn’t seem to get much interest in finding her. I suspect that LE just chalked her up as another teenage runaway and assumed she was safe because she was still in touch with friends (maybe family too? I can’t remember). I don’t think randoms on TikTok would have lit fire under the police. I think she wasn’t classed as particularly vulnerable and no one was really interested. Obviously, it’s all much different in hindsight.

bolded by me — i’ll keep it polite by saying a generation of people aren’t a monolith. i think i’m capable of critical thought, though some may disagree i suppose.
@starlightstarbright said it best above, ideally ALL channels of communication (including those that can put eyes on a situation and/or public pressure) is probably best. Celeste was written off, police didn’t seem to have urgency or care.

Money and fame also changes people around the person on an upward trajectory, imo.

I was just reading a post from a PI that has been following the case and he spoke about the “dismemberment” narrative. When the authorities first found Celeste, they already knew her height, weight and noted jewelry and clothing. Based on this description, they already knew her height and what she was donning. He believes what they were describing is actually disarticulation, which occurs in the later stages of decomposition. Sorry to be graphic, but this is when the connective tissue decays and the limbs naturally detach. The body parts are still there, they are just no longer connected. Disarticulation could be the case versus an actual dismemberment. Doesn’t change the guilt factor, but could change some of the narrative. Thought it was an interesting read.

To which I add, just because it’s posted doesn’t make it TRUE.
