Am I reading this correctly? It lists the date of death as 9/8/2025, but isn’t that the day they found her?

They usually list date of finding the body as the date of death, initially. Then later, after investigations and Medical Examiner reports, they can revise that date.

Even a kid will hide when the does something wrong. Why would he hide a body of a girl he loved in his own car he owned? I say he was set up. People who play games get swatted, who's to say someone is not setting him up. I know he was with her and she was a kid but think about it, who would hide person they killed in their own car.......

A few possibilities: Someone who thinks Homicide is Romantic?
Someone who has had a psychotic break?
The person imbued with the task of dumping the car didn't show up for work?
Denial? Disorganized? Systematized amnesia?
Maybe the good D wanted the bad Itami stopped?

One possibility that comes to mind is that, while D4vd might have had access to the Tesla, it might actually have been someone else's. This makes sense to me: A record company might well want to have vehicles and homes ready for up and coming new artists, without necessarily giving them the money that they would need for their rock star lifestyle.

The car was registered in D4's name, as the owner.

The following is my opinion only.

OK, let’s assume for just a second that you are right, that he truly loved this girl (child) and he’s innocent and somebody else killed her. So he’s off being a star and doing shows thinking everything is normal, but he can’t get in contact with her. Hours turn into days with radio silence. Wouldn’t he be worried? Panicking? Frantic?? But sure maybe whoever killed her was using her phone to text him.
THEN… he hears they have found a body in the trunk of his car, followed by reports that it’s a young girl, and yet he’s still performing concerts like nothing has happened? Really??????

I am expecting an arrest, but I'm not expecting it soon unless there is some bombshell we don't know about. It's going to take time to analyze phone data, vehicle data, for forensic analysis, and to interview countless witnesses. Theoretically, there are probably multiple people inside the circle who could have been involved to some extent.

Another complication may be cause of death, which could potentially be something other than homicide (drug overdose/body dump, which we've seen a lot on here).

I wonder if LE is keeping eyes on him?

So I'm guessing things that police are looking to prove / verify are:

- Who was driving the car recently, and who placed her in the trunk (via CCTV, Tesla camera, Fob / App data, witnesses)

- Whose DNA is in the car (Swabs, testing for blood or cleaning products?)

- If Celeste died inside the home (Blood swabs, DNA swabs, cleaning products, leftover personal items, CCTV from the home, phone location analysis)

- Celeste's time & cause of death (autopsy, toxicology, cell phone data, CCTV analysis, credit / debit card or other proof of life, messages from D4vd's devices that may indicate something - for example if he abruptly stops texting / calling her)

- D4vd's whereabouts at the time Celeste passed (Tour dates, witnesses, cell phone location, home CCTV)

- If there is one - a murder weapon? (Home searches, searches of the surrounding space, searches of his other vehicles, following movements of the car and searching where it had been)

- Motive (Phone & laptop messaging analysis, analysis of Celeste's phone, personal items such as a diary or song lyrics he had jotted down after she died)

- When she was placed in the vehicle (CCTV & car data)

- Who else was aware / complicit (messages, car data, who else was driving the car if not D4vd?)

AS WELL AS detangling their entire relationship via online messages to prove any grooming / p3dophilia charges. That's a lot of work to do in order to get a solid case going.

Speaking of, where is her phone? I wonder if it was found with her. Doubt it.
