CA- Body (IDd as Celeste Rivas Hernandez) found in vehicle at Hollywood tow yard, abandoned Tesla registered to singer D4vd – 8 September 2025

OK, so who is the guy next to her on the balcony? Are those "back stage" spots for staff?
If it’s his brother standing next to girl in black tube top, he needs to be brought in for questioning. Seems like there should be more camera angles in that place. Who took that picture I wonder?

Actually, there is one possible theory that makes total sense to me (MOO): He put the body in the car before he went on tour to get it out of the house, and then told somebody in his circle to get rid of it. That person didn’t.
Respectfully snipped.

I also suspect she was moved from the house, maybe in panic. I'll put her in the car and deal with her later kinda thing. MOO

''TMZ’s Charles Latibeaudiere discussed the clip during an appearance on Banfield, noting, “There’s a woman in the balcony who he actually acknowledged, looks up at her. She certainly could have been Celeste. It looked like it.” However, Latibeaudiere added, “We have been told by a source who is connected to the case that it is not Celeste.”

Speculation grew after the fan in the video appeared to have similar hair to Hernandez and wore a black tube top. Police reports confirmed Hernandez had been wearing a black tube top when her body was discovered, intensifying online theories before being dismissed by the source.''

''(NewsNation) — Internet sleuths were mistaken in thinking that Celeste Rivas Hernandez was in attendance at a D4vd concert late last month.
A viral video showed a woman who looked like Hernandez in the crowd just weeks before her decomposed body was found in the trunk of a car owned by the singer.
The video, filmed Aug. 23 or Aug. 24, took place in Maryland and shows D4vd paying attention to a specific female in the audience.''

People were filming his 23 August Silver Spring Maryland performance from the audience on their phones. On TikTok, there appears to be a few separate videos taken presumably by different people from different angles and also at different times during the show.

Completely MOO but to me it looks like Celeste and it seems unlikely it would be someone else so similar looking in his entourage with curly hair and similar features, but what do I know...

Edited for typo

And edited to add: the implications of this, if Celeste was with him in Maryland, is that he perhaps (speculating, not staying this as a fact) didn't go back to LA between his Maryland performance and the time his shows were cancelled, which is why these videos are so interesting

One thing that has become increasingly clear us that lots of people are inclined to make much less intelligent decisions than we had assumed. A musician on a trajectory for mainstream fame also demonstrably got himself involved with someone unforgivably young. There is no reason why he, or others around him, could not have made even worse decisions.
Depends. “Worse decisions” is a matter of opinion, not fact. Elvis got with his wife when she was 13 and he was 24. I don’t think anyone ever said that was a bad decision. Again, opinions are merely that… Opinions. IMO 😀

One thing that would make or break this case for me would be to know if this “David” was suspected BEFORE she was found in his vehicle chopped up and dead. A suspect in her family’s eyes I might add. It would be interesting to find that out. Did her family think David killed her and contact police and that is what led to the discovery? If that was the case it would change everything for me. It was said that she was last reported to be going to see a movie with DAVID and never returned. Seems like the police should’ve showed up on his doorstep years ago then doesn’t it? MOO.

And in a black tube top too.
It's all very confusing. Has anyone ID'd this other Celeste and confirmed whether she exists? IS there really another Celeste? How common is the name Celeste in that part of the world?
i believe it’s celeste herrera

I have a question - can’t you remotely move a Tesla? Would he even have had to have a friend or manager move the car?

Also, I asked Dr. Bunson Honeydew (my chatbot) if Tesla is as strict with records/ security regarding law enforcement as Apple is and the answer seems to be a resounding NO. So law enforcement could easily subpoena whatever they do have, it would appear.

You can move it only about 200 feet and you need to be present to do that. You cannot tell the car to go from here to there remotely. It will come to you in a parking lot if you have a phone key, open the app, and are within ~200ft of the car.

To be fair, IMO, the person in the picture did seem more mature or grown physically, including in the face, than I would expect for a 15 years old. She almost looks as tall as D4vd’s brother too, though it is possible she is just wearing high heels.

The possibility that there may be confusion differentiating between the two women, similar to what happened in the photo above, because they share the same first name and they may also look similar to one another, does cause me to wonder if the individual in the live streams with D4vd been officially identified as CR by LE or her mom? Since both individuals share the same name has it been confirmed with LE or the by the site which Celeste is chatting with D4vd in the Discord?

JMO but I am under the impression that some media outlets may be misidentifying the person seen in some of the shared streamed videos and pics with D4vd with the victim due to the presence of glasses, sharper longer nails, rings and a lighter skin complexion that seem different from the other pics and descriptions presented of CR by her family and friends.

Not saying D4vd did or didn’t do it and I am sure LE is on top of it. I just thought for those interested that verification of some of those details might add further clarity.

I did see on Google Earth and Newsweek that a number of cameras at the street corners and in front of some of the gates which is good as it will likely make it easier for LE to track CR’s, D4vd’s and the Tesla’s movements and hopefully provide substantial insight into what happened to CR as they work to get justice for her and her loved ones.

JMO/speculation

I don't know if this means anything in relation to this case, but when viewing 1368 Vireo Dr in street view on Google Maps, the alleyway is mostly dated as having been mapped in May of 2024. This view shows two Tesla models parked across from 1368, the closest being a black Tesla and the other, a blue Tesla.

However, there are two sections of the road which revert back views from May of 2016, one of which is the plot point directly in front of 1368.

Seemed odd to me 🤔🤨 Could be nothing but I'm just curious as to why Google removed the two frames from May 2024...

JMO.
They are literally everywhere in metro ca. it’s liken every fourth car you see.

There's a very good chance he didn't think it would be towed.
Good point. However, he HAD TO know it would start to stink to high heavens. Moving it from spot to spot just helps not get it ticketed or towed, it doesn't stop the stench coming out of it.

JMO!

thanks but I have no idea what Bissonet is?
To put it bluntly the Ho stroll / the track. Multitudes of young girls are out there. Google and you will find it. I mentioned it because I feel she was gone too long to NOT have been sighted there if she had been trafficked. They move them in a national loop and that’s LA’s hot spot.

Given that they were all likely drug-addled in some way, that made perfect sense to them. "Trunk music" (a phrase from the East Coast mafia, I think).

I wonder what they'll say her cause of death was. I am guessing there will be good forensic clues.

Slow and steady is the way to run this investigation. The arrests will come.

I certainly understand a "I'll deal with it later" mentality, so perhaps it was him and he indeed had no plan. My problem with that would be the smell -- that would eventually catch the attention of someone while he was gone on tour. That's why I lean towards thinking he dumped his problem onto someone he trusted/felt was indebted to him/someone already in over their head in some manner. And that person either hadn't figured out their plan yet or was too afraid to do it, and they didn't expect the car to be towed. All MOO.

The detail I'm interested in is whether the tow truck driver noticed the smell.

Just a note about Teslas, they only record footage if you manually set it up to by inserting a compatible USB drive for the footage to be saved on. I've never done that with mine. If Sentry mode is on, the car will say it's recording, but it's not. So while it's certainly possible it was set up in his car and whoever dumped the body didn't think to remove the USB drive, it's not a given. And if someone was using a physical key, there would be no way to prove who that was (other than fingerprints, but there may be several people who had access to that car).

I found these photos of a Tesla “frunk” with the writer of the article’s kids inside (LINK to Forbes article), to give an idea of size. Though, a couple things: I think the model may be a model S, and the article is old, from 2016, so I don’t know how/if the size has changed since then.

Anyone else find it somewhat creepy to shove kids in a trunk (sorry, ‘frunk’) for scale?

This is interesting - I've done some digging on the security of the Tesla Y model. So, to open the trunk of the car, you need:

1. A key fob - Tesla allows multiple of these to be made, but obviously the primary owner would be aware and permit this. SO d4vd knew how many people, and who, had access to his Tesla.

2. Acces via the app - there is a primary account owner of the app. Anyone else logged into this account must, obviously, be approved by the owner. So again, D4vd knew who had access to the app and hence who could use his car.

More interestingly though, both ways of accessing the car hold certain data. The key fob (from chatgpt):
  • Tesla logs when the car is unlocked and started, including which key or device was used.
  • The primary account can see timestamps of recent unlocks and drives in the Tesla app or the car’s security event logs.
  • Some logs may also show approximate location if Sentry Mode or GPS tracking is enabled.
And from the app:
  • If someone has shared app access, the primary account can see:
    • When the car is unlocked, locked, or started through the app.
    • Limited driving info depending on permissions (e.g., energy usage, trip start/end).
  • The app doesn’t necessarily show real-time driving behavior, but trip data can be logged.

However, there are two different ways of having a "shared app" - i.e multiple people having access to via the app.

1. Someone logs in WITH D4vd's email and password, using HIS account. This is risky and Tesla does not recommend it.
2. The primary owner (D4vd) creates another, lets say "sub" account, which allows the user to drive and access the car, without seeing sensitive information. This is likely what he would've done as it's safer and easier to manage, without giving out passwords etc.

Conclusion: D4vd would've known exactly when, and exactly whom, was driving and unlocking his car. As will police once they analyse this information.

Has it been confirmed if he reported the car as stolen? If anyone knew the car had been stolen or abandoned it would be him... all he needed to do is check his app. In fact, IF he had notifications on, he may even have been notified without opening the app whenever the car was accessed.

MOO.
Nice sleuthing @Bahshudc
