Anyone else find it somewhat creepy to shove kids in a trunk (sorry, ‘frunk’) for scale?
I’m sorry to you and anyone who found it or my post creepy. 😟

But, the author wrote that his kids begged to sit in it, not forced in for scale:
“…our kids begged me to open the front trunk so that they could climb inside. They brought iPads along and got comfy. For them, it was new territory, like a modern treehouse or a hidden attic crawl space.”

<modsnip: Quoted post was removed>

I am expecting an arrest, but I'm not expecting it soon unless there is some bombshell we don't know about. It's going to take time to analyze phone data, vehicle data, for forensic analysis, and to interview countless witnesses. Theoretically, there are probably multiple people inside the circle who could have been involved to some extent.

Another complication may be cause of death, which could potentially be something other than homicide (drug overdose/body dump, which we've seen a lot on here).

@MassGuy agree with you re timing of arrest (although much less familiar with US police & legal procedures).
In Australia, police usually know a lot more than what is being shared & reported by media. Journalist are legally restricted in respect to publishing things they might find through independent investigation (this is to protect ‘sub-justice’ court/jury integrity)
…I only mention this because this case seems so easily traceable. The owner of the car registration is known with presumably few individual who has access. Clear alibis can be established based on travel movements and tour dates, and no doubt there is loads of CCTV footage in that area

Oh gosh, no sorry, my comment wasn’t directed at you personally! I was being a bit facetious

Depends. “Worse decisions” is a matter of opinion, not fact. Elvis got with his wife when she was 13 and he was 24. I don’t think anyone ever said that was a bad decision. Again, opinions are merely that… Opinions. IMO 😀

Well, yeah, actually some people said it was a bad decision (back then and since then). OTOH, people did marry much younger back then. My favorite aunt married at 16 (and he was 18). They dated from the time she was 14. My mom married at 18 and dated my dad from the time she was 15 (he was 20 - they were married for over 60 years, very happily).

That being said, both that aunt AND my parents were shocked by Elvis's relationship with Priscilla. Too big an age gap for them. As a result, his music was banned in our household. My parents were disgusted that our next door neighbor was an Elvis fan and played his music, but stopped short of prohibiting me from playing over there. But for years, I was given the idea that Elvis was a horrible person (not just the age gap, but also the way he danced, ha). The pastor of our church talked about him from the pulpit, etc., saying he corrupted "a child."

Priscilla eventually came to think of it as a bad decision, herself, as indicated by every biography I've read of Elvis. I remember feeling sorry for him, as he pined away for her after she left him. Reading Priscilla's autobiography is eye-opening as well. At least they waited until she was 22 to marry. Whether her book is forthcoming with all details is certainly a matter of opinion, but I think they waited to consummate their relationship until she was much older than 13.

However, Celeste was only 11 when she ran away, as I understand it. Average age of onset of puberty has dropped since the 1950's, so I guess there's definitely a comparison to be made between Priscilla and Celeste.

It's my understanding that the average wait for full autopsy reports in L.A. County is several months. The number of cases they have is staggering and resources are thin. Four to six months for the toxicology:

Thank you! I couldn’t get those links to load. Did it say whether they broke the lease before or after this news came out?

I can’t disagree that people can do some very dumb things, so I can’t rule out the possibility he dumped the body in his own car. But the other examples are of him doing things he wants to do without regard to consequences. Why would he want to dump the body in his car? That car was not going to get stolen from those streets as some have speculated. And towing had the risk that the smell of the body would be discovered by the person reporting it or the tow truck driver. And a decomposing body just ruins the value of his car.

Actually, there is one possible theory that makes total sense to me (MOO): He put the body in the car before he went on tour to get it out of the house, and then told somebody in his circle to get rid of it. That person didn’t.

FWIW, I have a Tesla, and I often use the frunk to put things I don’t want stolen/found. There’s a way to break into it if you know how, I’ve read, but the average person doing a smash and grab won’t be able to open it (whereas the trunk is easy to access from inside).
The owner of the house said it was mutually agreed upon that the lease would end and the manager would move out after this news came to light.

Perhaps whoever did it genuinely thought if her poor body was in bags the smell would not escape.
The posts he made that said they had a kid on the way, I initially thought they were posted in November last year and then worked out that IF true, the baby could have been due at the very latest July possibly August and that maybe that played a part in all this. But I think I got confused between the UK and US date format. I saw 11 and thought it was November.
But despite everything, even if he DIDN’T do it, I still maintain that he would not be doing shows and acting normally if she had disappeared and he didn’t know anything about what had happened to her. He’d be trying to find her.

''TMZ’s Charles Latibeaudiere discussed the clip during an appearance on Banfield, noting, “There’s a woman in the balcony who he actually acknowledged, looks up at her. She certainly could have been Celeste. It looked like it.” However, Latibeaudiere added, “We have been told by a source who is connected to the case that it is not Celeste.”

Speculation grew after the fan in the video appeared to have similar hair to Hernandez and wore a black tube top. Police reports confirmed Hernandez had been wearing a black tube top when her body was discovered, intensifying online theories before being dismissed by the source.''

''(NewsNation) — Internet sleuths were mistaken in thinking that Celeste Rivas Hernandez was in attendance at a D4vd concert late last month.
A viral video showed a woman who looked like Hernandez in the crowd just weeks before her decomposed body was found in the trunk of a car owned by the singer.
The video, filmed Aug. 23 or Aug. 24, took place in Maryland and shows D4vd paying attention to a specific female in the audience.''
Sounds to me like D4 intentionally placed Celeste #2 in that visible location, in a black tube top, same hair style, etc, just so it could confuse people about the missing Celeste.

People were filming his 23 August Silver Spring Maryland performance from the audience on their phones. On TikTok, there appears to be a few separate videos taken presumably by different people from different angles and also at different times during the show.

Completely MOO but to me it looks like Celeste and it seems unlikely it would be someone else so similar looking in his entourage with curly hair and similar features, but what do I know...

Edited for typo

And edited to add: the implications of this, if Celeste was with him in Maryland, is that he perhaps (speculating, not staying this as a fact) didn't go back to LA between his Maryland performance and the time his shows were cancelled, which is why these videos are so interesting
It would seem unlikely, but surprisingly, there IS in fact, a look alike, also named Celeste, but 10 yrs older than the victim.

I believe he kept the older one around in order to confuse people. There are pictures of her floating around, I'll try to find one in msm to post.

Sure hope the authorities have seized andor conducted detailed search warrant(s) at the recently vacated rental home. Same for the vehicle. Likewise for video and CCTV available in the relevant areas and around the time of the events in this case.

And with respect to the vehicle, hope it is being determined i) when it was first located; ii) when it was reported ‘missing’ if in fact it was; iii) who reported that; iv) who reported that the vehicle was found; v) who determined that a body (or remains) were located in it; vi) when that occurred.

If the remains/body were/was dismembered, then IMO have a hard time believing it was simply an accidental or pharmaceutical-related incident. Time will tell. MOO

Speculation,
Any kid would probably like to try sitting in that open frunk, wondering just a teeny bit, if CRH, as a relatively petite 14+ yr. old, would try that too? Short term.
Sneak into a city, a show, a club, a house.......
Follow a celebrity, get snuck into places by one, stalk an ex, spy on a b.f., on a dare, or without choice.

One thing that would make or break this case for me would be to know if this “David” was suspected BEFORE she was found in his vehicle chopped up and dead. A suspect in her family’s eyes I might add. It would be interesting to find that out. Did her family think David killed her and contact police and that is what led to the discovery? If that was the case it would change everything for me. It was said that she was last reported to be going to see a movie with DAVID and never returned. Seems like the police should’ve showed up on his doorstep years ago then doesn’t it? MOO.
LE did show up at his door. They brought Celeste back to her home after the first time she went missing. But a few months later she ran away again.

It was not creepy at all

I am personally still shocked there has been no arrest. Almost 2 weeks now, right?

I understand there is a heavy investigation happening as we speak, but seriously… HOW has there not been an arrest??? mo

I can say it was a bad decision. She was only 13, a baby. He shouldn't be an adult that is going after young girls, imo.

Really good info about Celeste#2---including photos/videos.

Both Celeste's knew each other and he sometimes was seen with both of them in a group get together.

  • #756

TMZ just posted this, no mentions on who these 'friends' are, but IMO there is no way people would mistake herr for 19, even with makeup on. So many failed her!

This video is OK for the purpose of clearing up the confusion of two Celestes. This is not an approved source for anything else.
Thank you.

They know that he will have a top of the line, hardball defense team. So LE and the DA have to have everything in perfect shape before his arrest.

This case is more complicated than it looks, imo. There were a lot of people that came and went from that busy house. Many probably knew codes and/or had keys because people had to come take care of house situation during tour dates.

The keys to the Tesla were probably in the home too. And if Celeste was not on the tour, then those same 'helpers' would have access to Celeste too.

D4's defense will probably point to some of those people---Personal assistants, agents, house sitters, drivers, photographers, session players, etc----so many people become enmeshed with a singer/influencer's daily life. The singer relies upon these managers/agents/stylists/session players/trainers/personal assistants for their every day life activities.

So the defense is probably going to be able to say that D4 left for his tour, and persons X, Y and Z all had access to his home, his car and his friend Celeste. That will make things murky if any of those people were in and around that house that week.

Also, we may not ever have a verified cause of death. Maybe she OD'd or harmed herself and so someone wanted to hide her body? I doubt it but the defense can take it there.

Snipped/ bolded by me - super interesting! I didn’t know that was the case in Australia. I really want to know more about how that is navigated legally. Not the case in the US (Well…typically 😜)
