At this point, does it really matter exactly what time a transaction took place?

Only if you think an accurate timeline of verified information matters.

RE: "medical needs"

My bottom line and best suggestion to the family: I think the family should post a brief explanation/description for the added "medical needs" verbiage now used after one month of not using it.

If many of us are questioning the added term so late after BL went missing, many others have got to be questioning it as well. The family should explain so we can let it rest and move on. JMHO

Additionally, I believe most if not all MP flyers that state some sort of medical issue also include a brief explanation (eg MP is w/o meds, named serious illness, mental issues, etc) which BL's MP does not include.

I'm sorry, but I completely disagree. For my sons sake, I would not put 'mental illness' or 'schizophrenic' or 'diabetic' etc on a missing poster for him because frankly it is not something that he would want the entire nation to know! Not only that, but it would hope that some day he would be able to seek employment etc without a medical label following him around. I think the family should be very careful about what all is put out there for the public eye as this will not only follow him around for a life time, but could also embarrass him which would deter him from wanting to come home once he is better.

Bryce is young, he has his whole future ahead of him. I'd hate to see that future ruined because a few people think they have the right to know what his medical needs are. Jmo, moo

Understood - so possibly in your sons case, the simple description of "[missing person] is w/o daily medication" would be sufficient. My point was that I believe some indication, even if vague, should be included on MP flyer. JMHO

I think we are really asking the impossible here. IIRC it's an ATM card that BL is using and no way for bank to know. Someone would need to contact each place of business and since it's been a month, those businesses probably also won't know now. Jmo

The credit/debit card company should have all of those details. JMO

Finding out if he was in a hotel room, a lobby or in the parking lot, when LE contacted him...now that I could see being of some importance, vs. what time he made a purchase of a drink, or whatever. JMO

Every day at the close of business, we run a 🤬🤬🤬 batch report. That batch report details every transaction made, time, amount and a unique transaction (or invoice) number. Those reports are bundled with the rest of the closing paperwork and stuck in a banker's box where they remain for 7 YEARS. o.O So yeah, the vendors, if they're willing, could probably get that info too (or the corporate office could, if they send their paperwork off). :twocents:

Right. I.e. "possible closed head injury"... but I believe the family believes this is actually the case and @Dragracerz has indicated he believes this is the case so I personally have no problem with it. IMO, he was not "well" before all of this went down (based on the events that led up to the wreck). :twocents: (gonna go broke at this rate. ;) )

ETA: The "Critical Missing Person" pretty much validates it, IMO.

Attached is the updated timeline. Supporting links, where available, are also included.

It made most sense to me to publish it as a pdf as you all would be able to copy data if you so desire. As a pdf, you will have to either choose to open it or save it to your hard drive, both options use Adobe Reader.

Please let me know of any additions/deletions/modifications, and/or format/posting suggestions as to how it might be easier for you all to view/use. Thx!

Note: I'll also post this in the timeline thread.

Do you know if it's common place for companies to release that kind of information without a subpena?

Exactly. Credit card companies will have transaction times & amounts, but not details of what was purchased.

You would have to take the info from the credit company & then go to individual merchants for the complete details.

Haven't a clue.

If he had a $30 purchase at an Arco Gas station, it's likely he bought gas.

I'm just looking for any clues to help fill in the ginormous gaps in time and his location on the timeline.

We covered the motel issue in either thread #3 or #4.... We got nowhere because we can't get confirmation as to whether he was in a hotel, in the parking lot at a hotel, or on Lagoon Drive. Mom said (again in the John and Ken interview) that he was found just sitting in his car by LE on Lagoon Drive; Dispatch report states he was found in a hotel. LE pinged his cell phone within a certain # of feet of some address on Lagoon Drive (which doesn't mean he was on Lagoon Drive.) And a round and round we go!

BBM

Actually the dispatch report says he was AT a hotel, not in a hotel.

I’m glad to hear that dragracerz said that he continues to “have searches (not posted on FB) being conducted daily in and around Castaic” area. I still would like to see TESS or Klaas there at ground zero. I’m confused about Klaas’ level of involvement. Is there some reason he is not more active in the case?

I continue to have worrying flash backs to the LLomax case. In her case, there were supposed sightings popping up everywhere, just like we’re seeing in BL’s case now. For nearly three months, in the LLomax’ case, the focus of attention chased after these supposed sightings. The whole, entire time lovely Linnea was deceased within about a mile from where she was last seen alive.

I just hope we’re not seeing a repeat of the lengthy, painful, prolonged search everywhere only to find the MP right back at ground zero. I think that’s why this case has its claws in me. I’m still haunted by the tragedy of the LLomax case. JMHO

I want to know when he ate.
If he went to the oasis gas station on Lagoon Dr. in Buttonwillow at 12:30 pm and spent $39.50, we don't know if that entire purchase was for gas, it is also a convenience store.
When was the last time he had eaten or had anything to drink? It was flippin hot that day. Did he put enough gas in the suv to get him to Laguna Niguel? He had to of purchased food and drink also. I know most 19 year olds can't go that long without food or liquids.

There's 3 motels that I can see within the 271 meters radius from the corner of Lagoon Dr and Tracy Ave: Econo-Lodge, Knights Inn, and Motel 6. (Found a nifty little map tool that creates a radius on a map. How cool is that! ;))

Thank-you for such a great map! I've been to that Motel6, Denny's, and there is a McDonald's right across from the Denny's that I've been to too.

I think dispatch is calling a hotel a motel because there are no hotels in Buttonwillow...

Always a possibility. The easiest and most logical conclusion, though, is that he was fatally injured and is somewhere in the vicinity where he succumbed.

Respectfully, I don't know that that is a logical conclusion at all. If Bryce was fatally injured in the crash it is unlikely he could have wandered so far that search teams would have missed him. Unless you ate saying he wandered off and harmed himself.
