Absolutely! As does their mind set, whether they had said goodbye or severed ties with people close to them in their lives, if their set pattern changed in the days leading up to their disappearance, etc. I whole heartedly agree!

I assure you that all of the things mentioned, talking to last people seen, investigating Buttonwillow, etc. are being looked into

I have also been rethinking the reward option (against LE advise) in the event that he is missing on his own.
I have tried numerous times to involve TES with no luck.

I have tried to keep an open mind, and look from "outside the box" at every angle

I have been on here trying to post facts and not keep any information from anyone (as long as it wouldn't hinder an invegtigation), and have given a lot of info not available anywhere else, in hopes that someone on WS could come up with more than I was thinking. I have gained a lot from WS, and for that I thank all on here, but,I don't know, maybe I am too emotionally involved and don't belong on this site.

Can somebody shed some light on why LE is opposed to offering a reward at this time? IMO it might shake loose some valuable information that may lead to bringing BL home or at least shed some light on the circumstances surrounding his disappearance.

Does LE usually offer a reward for an adult that may or may not have gone missing on purpose or if there is no indication that foul play was involved?

ETA - I don't think, if he was injured, has amnesia, etc. that a reward would help much. I think anyone who happens upon him would report it even if there wasn't a reward.

If the person was missing voluntarily the reward money could also potentially put the missing person at risk I would think. You never know who he could be keeping company with and what their motives might be? Just a guess...

As mentioned in the beginning of this thread, Bryce's conviction was allowed to stand. A conviction of over a year ago does not lead to Bryce buying or selling drugs throughout California. Enough with this conjecture. There is NOTHING to support it.

Even on Investigation Discovery's show "Disappeared", the premble is that the hours and days leading up to a disappearance are clues as to where and what could have happend to the MP. It's all important until we know what happened and what could have been eliminated. Not everything he said and did is connected to his disappearance, but we don't know what yet. IMO.

I've seen the FBI offer rewards for info on missing people but never local LE agencies that I can recall. In most cases on WS, it seems like the families of the missing or people in the community come together to donate or raise reward money.

I agree, in fact on the ABC TV Series "What Would You Do" it got proven over and over again that most people don't want to get involved. Even when it was about a kid being grabbed by a stranger and the kid was yelling, "You are not my Dad!" No one stopped this man from taking the kid in the example they used.

On the show, that wasn't ever an option.

I think that throughout the many cases we've had here at WS, the reward has hardly ever come into play. In most cases, the money didn't make a difference.

It was stated that he took drugs not prescribed to him just before he vanished. I do not see how that is not a factor, or at least a possible factor, but JMO.

IMO more people are likely to get involved if money is on the table, especially if unsavory drug people are involved. Even a small reward of $1,000.00 is akin to a million dollars for some. I also think a billboard somewhere along side the I-5 in the Castaic area would be helpful. Unfortunately there are many people that don't take the time to read flyers or may not have seen one and with the amount of truckers that drive that route it could be very beneficial to have a billboard there.

You can discuss what was brought forward by MSM. What has been happening, however, it that is then extrapolated to him being a dealer or trying to score from strangers.

If you read Drag's posts, he is wading through "hearsay" here. Other than dwindling MSM, he's really all we have. If we continue with this supposition, which is unfounded, he will leave and we will have nothing.

I'd hate to see this thread end up like so many others, closed because all we do is make bizarre guesses and there is no longer any MSM or input from verified insiders.
