I would think an LE request may be honored as well.
I have a feeling so as well. Hopefully they've got something.

Excuse my random thoughts. I haven't posted in a couple of weeks but have been reading and following and hoping and praying. I am trying to remain optimistic but as the time passes, I am having a hard time.
Ok - I had a Highlander and although, I don't know the demographics of CA or mountains, etc. as I live in a FLAT area, I can honestly say that I never felt safe in my car. At high speeds or around bends, I always felt lilke the car would topple over at any given second. I had a 2009 and have since gotten rid of it and now drive a sedan.
As far as pot goes - It COULD have something to do with his disappearance but I have mixed emotions on this as I know several people from my family who have dealt heavily in marijuana in the past. One being able to be a middle man in selling it and making A LOT of money for being in his early 20's at the time. Lot of $ meaning - $200kish. They are smart enough to have electric companies paid off to NOT target in on high electric usage, etc. With that being said, I feel that if Bryce was in possible trouble or had drugs hidden on him or anything related to getting into trouble based on his previous arrest, I strongly feel IMO that he would have contacted his parents. Disappointed or not, my gauge on them is that they would have bailed him out and helped him.
Also, I don't know if I ever posted this or if anyone else did but in the beginning when I was trying to find out more about Bryce, I found his nickname (one of them, I'm sure) is/was "THA GING" - I only found a couple of social media pages but wanted to reference it here in case there is more out there.
Still hoping that somehow he is alive and will be found.
What does THA GING mean? I have never heard of that before.

So we have conflicting info here. All along, we've gone off the MSM's & other info quoted by Kevsrebla of being ON Main Ramp Rd. But when I linked this very first article from SCV Signal a few minutes ago, I couldn't help but notice it said:
"...his crashed SUV was found at the bottom of a 15-foot ravine near Castaic Lake Main Boat Ramp early Friday morning."
BBM http://www.signalscv.com/section/36/article/104072/
The "15 foot" drop part always stuck with me & bugged me in the back of my mind. Figured it for a reporting error, since it's clearly so much further to Main Ramp Rd. But this article actually supports RK's information.
ETA: I sure wish I could find that pic with the broken glass, tail lights, lighter, etc. I've seen it a couple times, but can't find it now.

Are there even any locals on here aside from me and riverking anymore? I am going to attempt to make a search team tomorrow at Johnny Rockets per dragracerz but thought it would be awesome to have other WS users go so if we do find anything it won't just be hearsay so to speak.

I always assumed the 15ft ravine was the drop from the hill side to the road.

I don't buy this theory because he could have easily taken his cell phone out of the car and dumped it- even in the lake. The cell phone only pings a 1 mile radius from the nearest cell tower of that carrier where it receives a call or a call is placed when the phone is on. It's not like a tracking system.Because no matter what, the phone would be able to ping his last location. They'd easily be able to find a hidden car near that last ping area.

Spoke to dragracerz who has given me permission to setup a search team to go to Buttonwillow and retrace his steps and do a little investigation down there and see if we find anything.
Any locals interested? (Im in Canyon Country)

Had he just kept going S. on I5, then town of Castaic is right after the lake, and there are lots of cheap motels right off the freeway, then you get into lots of civilization in Valencia.Exactly. Who drives for two hours looking for a place to pull over to sleep going in circles?
Maybe the family can contact Ralston and Associates to see if they would search the lake using their equipment and expertise. I may be wrong but I thought LE had searched the lake with side scan sonar for only a brief period.

Attention people of Valencia: Last night there was a person observed possibly stealing oranges from the residential area behind The Habit on McBean. This individual had a bicycle, was wearing dark clothes, a hat and carrying a backpack, possibly with 3 vertical stripes.
