I'm sorry, I think I'm missing something: Are you a psychic Mick?

Not all the time, but sometimes, yes. Up Chelsea's threads I began talking abouit an intrusive vision/waking dream of someone burying a body on a hill, above some water, and a view thru trees from that place, across the water to another fairly steep hill with some trees on it.

Swag, so true, you can't trust the media, and sadly you can't always trust people in general. Some are well meaning but "convince" themselves that they someone or something that they didn't, and really sadly, some are attention hounds and will straight up lie to get noticed and get their five minutes of fame.

This has a similar feel to what you were talking about maybe?

1. You can't drive into the park, only the parking lot which is nowhere near the trail
2. She was not accosted
3. The park was closed to the public on Fri, Sat, Sun, Mon, Tues

Either she is lying or the article is seriously messed up.

That one looks like some of the pictures of Lake Hodges I've seen.

Here's a better one for me:

Ok, there's some places where hills protrude into the lake....call the first dark outcropping #1, then go #2,(just peeking up) #3, #4. I believe from a part of #4, which would afford a view back on #3, that may have been where I 'saw' from.

Is that the reverse view of the one I posted?? A vew from the other side of those hills/islands/points?

No, the land on both sides of the water rises quite steep. There are trees on both sides of the water.

The one that has a similar feel is Dixon Reservoir, not Hodges. I'm wondering if maybe it could even be a different lake in the area.

3rd one is Hodges from a different vantage point yes.

Can you watch the video? She is standing on what looks like a road (asphalt) and pointing to an embankment. (I have never been there so it is all foreign to me.) Also, I though part of the park remained open those days?

Oh, got it, ok, but now that makes even less sense. If she saw him Sunday, there is no way she saw him anywhere near where her body was as that area was completely secured and not open to anyone but LE. So... there is no way she could have taken police back to the area where they found the body because she couldn't have been walking there in the first place. Am I totally missing something or misreading this?

Thank you...that is exactly true.

If that article got all twisted that's one thing.

She COULD have been there on Thursday and seen him right after it happened.

But trails were sealed to that area, even much earlier on Sunday. By the time I drove past at 1, it was obviously LONG sealed on the south side, including near the neighborhood. There were cops staking out all the entrances and searchers everywhere.

There's no way she had been there on Sunday to encounter him, nor could HE have been there on Sunday.

Cops and searchers were RIGHT there. I was watching them from the cul-de-sac at Monticook and Smokesignal.

I seriously think that this article got twisted into a sighting earlier (Thursday, I would assume).

Mick, maybe TB or someone could chime in and tell us about the trails, are there any up in the mountain areas?
