An article from the Auburn Journal:

"Rocklin moms devote spare time to search for missing woman"

These are the ladies that I met outside the court house when I went to the last hearing. Remember I mentioned Christine - and her friend, that I didn't catch her name - it's Nancy! I hope they both come and visit this thread!!

I don't know if there will be a day that I can go out and search for Christie this week - as we will be having RAIN ALL week long... :( that really screws up my plans!!  Hoping for at least ONE dry day, so I can at least ATTEMPT some search!! I'm going to go search for those places that were mentioned in this post earlier. Like that Waldo Road...

Hoping SOMETHING of Christie's turns up SOON!!
I'm hopeful that this weather will somehow lead to the recovery of Christie....all the streams so full and swift now, it just seems if something was lodged somewhere now there's a chance it could break free....

Sounds like I need to read the article and see if I can get ahold of this gal somehow. I'd love to help. After the new year the volunteer searches will start up again. That 🤬🤬🤬 and what he's done.....he's going down he might as well give up the area where he left her.

oh wow chico! I would NEVER have thought of that!! Good thinking! Hopefully something WILL be found! It's supposed to be a clear day tomorrow, Thursday - but I have an appointment to get my ends permed - so I'll have to 'see' if I can do something in the afternoon!

yeah - that would be a good notion on his part - just telling where she is... I'm sure that the LE & DA have a LOT more DNA evidence then what they showed at the prelim hearing!! And they have got this guy - spot on!! :banghead: :furious:

I think the hairs is about all they got but its enough...that with the surveillance video cements it for me. Hopefully a jury will agree ;)

The gunman on the loose in the Placerville area too.....it can only help with LE looking for him, they (in a way) could find Christie or at least mark that area off...who's to say the 🤬🤬🤬 didn't go south on the way home to Auburn....so many directions he coulda taken!

With the casino as the center the search area would go out about 180 miles in a perimeter....he had at least a few hours if he got home and "it was still dark per his wife

Clayton shot himself as he was confronted by deputies. All of this happened less than 10 miles from my house. Creepy!!

I'm not surprised he could evade the police for a few days. I used to play in those woods in my teen years and it is thick woods and hilly terrain.

Clayton's wife was upgraded to "serious" condition from "critical". I didn't know these folks, but I sure feel for this family. I do volunteer fundraising for the women's shelter here in the county. If only she had gone to stay at the shelter until he was disarmed. Her temporary restraining order prohibited him from having guns, but I guess that part had not been enforced yet. Restraining orders are pretty useless if the creeps don't care about the law.

I have looked on the maps and I see Red Dog and You Bet listed, but I can't find any Waldo Rd. Does anyone know what town or area Waldo Rd. is supposed to be in? That's where some psychic said to look for Christie.

Waldo Rd. is in the area of Spenceville Wildlife Area....in the area where the bag of bondage items and hair were found. Here's a link to a map...best I can do fast...I used this map when I went on the search to give me an idea where I was in the bigger picture. I'll try to map out the area where the bag was found or at least the general area as it was in the boonies!

The Spenceville WildLife Area is east and adjacant to Beale AFB. This is the Waldo Junction area....link

Zoom out to get your bearings on where the area is compared to hwy 65 and Wheatland, Sheridan and Lincoln. Add Auburn into the mix cause that's where Garcia lives. I'll map that too ;)

Wow, that is out in the middle of nowhere, isn't it!

wow Shadow - didn't know you lived so close to this shooting! And I probably passed right by your house last Monday! LOL!

I read another psychic on that thread that Chico shared a while back... she said to look near Auburn Ravine & Hwy 80; and asked for a topographical map. Haven't been back yet to 'see' if someone sent her one! BUT!! if she is talking about the Auburn Ravine CREEK and NOT Road - well, this creek runs right near Hwy 80 where I live... so the Huz & I plan on walking along that creek WHEN this darn rain subsises... which I HOPE is SOON!! They said it's supposed to rain continuously for the next 3 to 4 days... but I hope there is break for at least a couple of hours this weekend so we can go out search this area!!

I'll keep you posted on what happens!

Think Garcia lives on Florence Ct.....http://tinyurl.com/cxsvs

The area around Lincoln and Auburn via the Camp Far West area is too large to show on a map...zooming out you lose all the little roads that wind around the lake and wildlife area that eventually lead to hwy 49....I left the area on Lime Kiln Rd and eventually ended up on hwy 49 between Grass Valley and Auburn.

Of course someone knowing the area may think that is a good way to go to avoid LE and high traffic....kinda depends on where his stomping grounds were so to speak.

you are right, Chico - there are quite a LOT of little roads - dirt and otherwise in those mountains!! She could be anywhere!!

Haven't been able to go down around the creek area yet - as it is STILL raining here!! Drizzling right now - and no relief (That I can see!) in sight!! Today is my last day home from work... and I HOPE for some sunshine today... so at least I can say I did try!!

Well Niner, in the light of the massive rains, floods and mudslides we all will give you a break! lol There will be plenty of time to search when things settle down right now it would be downright dangerous! You get an A for effort :)

Auburn ravine has some pretty steep drop-offs, cliffs really. If he pulled over and dumped her off one, it's going to be hard to find her. Her body might have fallen into the manzanita brush and be hidden. Also animals in the area may have already broken up the body and dispersed the bones. (Sorry for that mental image) There are mountain lions and coyotes all over that canyon. My guess in that area would be between highway 49 and the areas upstream of the Foresthill bridge, but what a difficult area that would b to search!

Hello to all involved in this thread. And thanks to Niner for your fabulous court reporting. Since the rain has kept us indoors for so many days, I've been using that time to look into the belief that Garcia has other victims. Searching missing persons sites, news archives etc. I have a couple questions that maybe one of you might remember. I believe Garcia is/was some sort of Lab Technision? but can't locate the original article pertaining to that. Also, does anyone know when Garcia moved to Auburn from the Bay Area? I also remember seeing something in an article in regards to a contracter who had trouble with him (Garcia) when he subdivided his Florence court property, I'm trying to pinpoint that timeline, or at least find that article. I also remember seeing that Garcia owns 4 vehicles, Niner, did the types of vehicles come up in court? I seem to remember they were listed somewhere. a 4 x 4 truck for sure, but maybe a white van? I'd really like to know this for my notes, it might be relevant in other cases. Christies mom obviously feels that Garcias past is important -( and I've learned from experience that a moms instincts are definetly important) regarding her statement on the 1979 kidnap rape charges, and the women who died when his car ended up in the Oakland bay, and I'm sure LE in looking those cases. BUT my belief is if Garcia's job, entittled him to visit or work along side other hospitals, he may have something to do with some missing women who worked at Hosiptals, in Sac, S.F. area and Stockton. of this women, there a few who also had trouble with spouses/boyfriends where the suspicion could be directed away from Garcia. Do you see where I'm going with this? Anyway, I know our priority is finding Christie, but evidence against Garcia might go much deeper than anyone realizes, he may be a seriel killer.

So thank you in advance for any info that might help. (also please note that I now have a better system of keeping my notes straight, because its so frustrating not being able find what I'm looking for! :furious: )

regarding Garcia's job:

Murder suspect Mario Garcia was absent from his workplace for six days after Christie Wilson disappeared, a Placer County detective testified Friday morning.

Detective Ken Addison told Judge Larry D. Gaddis during a preliminary hearing that he spoke with Garcia's coworkers at Sutter Health where Garcia worked in the information technology department. He said the office's logs show Garcia took personal time on Thursday, October 6; telecommuted on Friday, October 7; took a personal day on Monday, October 10; and went into the office briefly on October 11. On that day, Garcia asked for more time off but was denied, according to the detective.
