GUILTY CA - Christie Wilson, 27, murdered, Roseville, 5 Oct 2005 *found in 2020*

  • #281
I found the comment below on www.missingabducted.com from a psychic.

Her previous comment stated that she is a psychic in Lodi, CA and that she felt Christie is in a mining area and the words "You Bet" and "Red Dog" were coming to mind. She added that she later found out that those are names of towns in the area.

    HELLO,

IM THE PSYCHIC THAT WROTE YOU LAST WEEK
ABOUT I THINK SHE IS IN A MINE AROUND
RED DOG OR YOU BET OR WALDO. I SEE NOW
THE ROAD WALDO IS IN THE AREA IN WHICH
THEY FOUND THE TAPE I TOLD POLICE THAT SHE HAD WORKED OFF OF HER MOUTH. DOES ANY BODY KNOW IF THERE IS A MINE AN OLD MINE AROUND THAT AREA? IF SO I WOULD SURE GO CHECK THAT AREA. E-MAIL ADDRESS
    [email protected]
I never heard any mention of LE finding tape. Has anyone heard about that?

I didn't hear about tape but there was a bag of "bondage" items found in the Waldo area A ball gag was described and some hair found in a plastic bag. No results released if any are back from the lab....Red Dog and You Bet sound like mining areas around the Dutch Flat area where LE and volunteers just finished searching.

This is gold country where this has taken place....:(

The valley and foothill areas near Thunder Valley Casino are completely riddled with poison oak. I have lived in the Sacramento area virtually my whole life and I can tell you, it's pretty hard to find an area in the foothills that DOESN'T have poison oak. It grows like a weed in any open, scrubby or forested area below about 4000 ft. It grows by the rivers and in vacant lots. It is literally everywhere. I can't even count the number of times I've had it.

Also the foothills are loaded with old gold mining areas. Everything from mines dug into hillsides to areas of many square miles where the dredges went through and left areas of hills and gullies called tailings. All of these areas would be ideal to hide a body. There are literally hundreds and hundreds of dirt roads that criss-cross through the area leading everywhere and nowhere. In recent years many homes have been built in the lower foothills, but the area around Dutch Flat is both close to the freeway and yet sort of remote and heavily forested. I have witnessed many "dumpsites" in that area, where slobs just dump out truckloads of junk that they can't be bothered to take to the county landfill. Trying to find a body out there without a specific idea of where to look is next to impossible. I'm afraid this is going to end up being one of those "body found by hikers" cases years down the road.

I feel for Christie's family, they know what probably happened to her but no way to bring her home and put her to her rest.

Placer County Sheriff's detectives have distributed photographs of a gray trunk mat similar to the missing one throughout the state. They are also asking crews from the Placer County Water Agency, Pacific Gas & Electric and the Nevada Irrigation District to be on the lookout for it.

When Wilson was last seen, she was wearing a black crew-neck top with three-quarter sleeves, blue jeans, and carrying a black purse with a shoulder strap.

Investigators are asking the public to keep their eyes open for the mat and any clothing articles that might have been Wilson's when visiting Placer and Nevada county mountains, lakes and streams. If any of the items are found, the Placer County Sheriff's Department can be reached at (530) 889-7800. Volunteers have distributed fliers described the wanted items throughout Placer and Nevada counties.

I hope someone finds something soon ......then there is this:

Sheriff's deputies spent several hours Tuesday searching for the source of what appeared to be more than a dozen clumps of human hair strewn along a roadside in Bridgeport.

The blond and gray hair, approximately 15 inches long, was attached to what looked like skin, said Nevada County Sheriff Keith Royal.

A man called the sheriff's office Monday morning to report finding what he said was highlighted human hair with scalp attached. He reportedly found it at approximately 4 p.m. Sunday.

No blood or any other suspicious items were found in the area along Pleasant Valley Road, approximately a half mile south of the Bridgeport covered bridge, Royal said.

I read that story about the hair clumps, and yuck, it creeped me out. They're testing it to see if it could be Christie's. I wish they would say something about the hairs that they are testing from the "bondage kit" searchers found.

Chico, I think the shirt was described as 3/4 length sleeves, not 3/4 inch. That would be pretty small!;)

I'll fix it :D That's what I get for not reading closely ;)

If you guys don't have Google Earth-you gotta get it!!

This would be great to look for places Christie may have been killed and/or buried.

It's satellite views of the entire world -you can zoom in to pinpoint locations. It names every single building in the area you are viewing.

...

It will show all the side roads, each body of water-you can actually even zoom in on Garcia's property if you know his address so you can take a look at that pond that was mentioned!!

...

Oh WOW Its!! That sounds cool! I'll have to check it out - I know Garica lives on Florence Court - have no # - but saw a picture of his house - nice house! It looks like it's sitting on some acreage.

regarding that "gray" hairs... Malim (I believe) said Christie had no gray hairs... not looking too on this "evidence". So I have read!

Oh Cass, just read your thing on the tape found by Waldo Road!! is this a coincoindence or ?? is You Bet or Red Dog anywhere near this Waldo Road - oh never mind - I am so computer illerate (sp?) - but I'll give it a shot! LOL! I'll be back! unless, someone else can find it faster! LOL! :D

Good luck and stay safe Niner!! Waldo Rd. was in an area that LE thought Garcia would go if avoiding LE...kinda a backroad way to Auburn. Think its outta Sheridan but it was in the boonies for sure!

Thank you for the confimation I needed for Garcia's address...Florence CT. I did a search on a neighbor that spoke with a reporter and thought it might be the address but wasn't for sure. I happened to drive by this area as I was leaving the search a few weeks ago

The backroads led to Hwy 49 and have been searched and plan to be further searched according to one of the last reports from the search team. There's all sorts of brambles that we couldn't get into but when the leaves are gone for the winter the area needs to looked at again. sigh She's out there somewhere Niner, good luck and I hope you find something anything that could lead to her....

A Placer County Superior Court judge set a tentative trial date of February 21 for the Auburn man accused in the murder of Christie Wilson.

Mario Flavio Garcia, 53, is being held in Placer County Jail on charges he killed the 27-year-old woman. Although Wilson's body has not been recovered, prosecutors are treating her disappearance as a homicide.

But she still hasn't been found. Poor girl. And her poor family. I hope they find her soon.

A change of venue could be on the horizon for the murder trial of Mario Garcia, who entered a not-guilty plea to a charge of murder Tuesday in an Auburn courtroom.

Garcia, 53, of Auburn, appeared with his attorneys David Dratman and Ron Peters. He was there to be arraigned on a charge of murder in connection with Christie Wilson's presumed killing.

Wilson, 27, of Sacramento, was last seen Oct. 5 at 1:13 a.m. walking out of the Thunder Valley Casino with Garcia. She hasn't been heard from since.

Although no motion was made in court Tuesday, Garen Horst, deputy district attorney for Placer County said he believes one will be forthcoming.

"We expect the defense to request a change of venue," Horst said.

Peters said after court that he is considering a request to take the trial out of Placer County.

~snip~

"Whatever happens this case will move pretty quickly through the system," Horst said.

Don't panic yet! I don't think there's been so much publicity that it has to be moved, hopefully the judge will feel the same way ;)

Although there is that pesky article that the defense pointed out to the judge....still don't know what article they were referring to when statements about the accuracy was questioned. There was one online source, tv station I think, that used the term "murder trial" rather than "preliminary hearing" but other than that I didn't find anything unusual in the articles.

okay... I won't panic yet then!! I agree - I don't "see" too much publicity on this trial either. Well, at least not like Scott P's in San Mateo - now THAT was a circus!!

I'll keep my fingers crossed and hope for the best! :)

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year everyone!

An article from the Auburn Journal:

"Rocklin moms devote spare time to search for missing woman"

These are the ladies that I met outside the court house when I went to the last hearing. Remember I mentioned Christine - and her friend, that I didn't catch her name - it's Nancy! I hope they both come and visit this thread!!

I don't know if there will be a day that I can go out and search for Christie this week - as we will be having RAIN ALL week long... :( that really screws up my plans!!  Hoping for at least ONE dry day, so I can at least ATTEMPT some search!! I'm going to go search for those places that were mentioned in this post earlier. Like that Waldo Road...

Hoping SOMETHING of Christie's turns up SOON!!
