Please someone tel me how to do a screenshot. I need to try to get an intern fired asap. It appears some ACLU intern is calling the killer a "hero" on a facebook posting on the John and Ken website that Herding Cats linked to. I want to screen shot it and send it to her bosses, but I don;t know how!

PC- there is the print screen button referred to above in the upper right area of the keyboard. (Then paint program, etc as described)

Mac- Command+shift+3 all at the same time. It will auto deposit onto your desktop.

Just figured out why I'm seeing all the presence on the street. Dorner names an area near here in his manifesto about some officers being "a high value target".

Makes more sense.

Scary.

WTF? People injured due to mistaken identity? OMG.
Yes they are apparently shooting first and asking questions later.

I did it. And sent it to her bosses.

:( Maybe he has a point. Even if true, it was wrong to kill those people. JMO. Wrong of everybody (just to be clear).

I think she is a professional troll. Google her name. There is no way she ia an intern for the ACLU. She might be a Blaze intern however.

I just did. I read some of her posts in other articles. I now 100% believe she interns for the ACLU. Many of the posts are about free speech!

I really hope that everyone who was too quick on the trigger finger will be prosecuted to the max. Firing on someone without being sure it's the target person (perp)? That said, I'm basing this on posts about what may have happened.

A few ideas about why he tried to hijack the boat.

He is a naval guy. He's comfortable on the water, can sail, can handle a boat.

Now, add to that the weapons...he has a Barrett 50 cal that can shoot very accurately at over a mile. So, if he sat off the coast, and just took pot shots, it would be very difficult to apprehend him...and he could easily target officers on the beaches (and yes, even in February, the beaches are well used...). Not to mention he has a bit of a problem with a Harbor Patrol officer; if he were to cruise through the harbor, it would be easy to take down officers who work the harbor (and are not "regular" PDs).

He was in San Diego, went to Corona and Riverside, and appears to be traveling north. He does state that there are a lot of high value targets in places other than those (south and east of Los Angeles city), some of them north and west.

OK.

He has also lived in Las Vegas, NV., as well as Thousand Oaks, California (which is near Simi Valley, an area where lots of LAPD live; and immediately west of the San Fernando Valley, where Dorner says some high value targets live).

I'm thinking he may come north...to the Thousand Oaks area or Simi Valley (which is also where the King officers were tried...and that's discussed in Dorner's manifesto), or even the San Fernando Valley.

Oh, what a cluster******.

Who shot the 2 "older female" newspaper deliver persons? (:LE or the perp?)

  • #216
Actually, the guy who saw the truck and who made the call was interviewed a bit ago, his name was either Lee McDaniels or Lee McDonald depending on what the reporter said as opposed to what the headline said on the TV. Maybe I saw it on CNN?

Thank you. Much obliged.

I should go back to keeping my speculation to myself. :)

Who shot the 2 "older female" newspaper deliver persons?

LE shot them because they were driving in a Pick Up truck with the headlamps off as they approached a LE Captains home that was being protected.

Two officers were on protection detail guarding one of the people listed in ex-LAPD Officer Christopher Dorner’s manifesto, Beck said.

(Snipped)

The first shooting occurred about 5:20 a.m. in the 19500 block of Redbeam Avenue, where Los Angeles police detectives wounded two people, police said. Police said the truck was suspicious because it rolled through a neighborhood with no headlights on.

The second shooting occurred about 5:45 a.m. at Flagler Lane and Beryl Street. No one was injured in that incident.

Police said both incidents involved vehicles matching the description of the one sought in connection with Dorner.

I'm sick to my stomach over this situation. I grew up and lived in Corona for about 20 years. My dad is a doctor and his office is almost right in the middle of where the two Riverside cops were ambushed. I have a sister in high school extremely close to the location of this morning's first shooting.

I'm praying that this guy is apprehended as quickly as possible. I just want to hear that the threat has been mitigated at least somewhat. This one hits way too close to home for me.

I'm praying for those who've been affected by this tragedy in any way. :heartbeat:
