I should have expected this from you!!! :D :blowkiss:

Nope, not a dentist. Actually, every dentist I can think of that either me or my kids have been to is old... ewwww... it'd be like your grandpa touching you. YUCK!!!!

Where are all the young, good looking dentists?!?!

this reminds me of the time my dentist put the nitrous oxide (sp) to me...i started gettin "frisky":blushing: .... told him, more than once, "you're cute"

course he smiled real big & said "thank you"....(i think he ended up telling the tech to turn the NO down a notch, lol......

(not making lite of the story though)....it just reminded me of it, when i saw the title....

Kind of remionds me that at one time, my dentist had a very well-endowed, breastwise, sweet young thing. She had this terrific habit, when she cleaned teeth, of pressing her very large breast up against the side of my face. What a wonderful feeling that was. We had close friends that went to the same dentist, and he, and I, used to joke about wanting to get our teeth cleaned again, very soon. I don't think I ever got weaned properly.

I have Margo who cleans my teeth. OMG. Talk about pain. I call my friend and almost cry. This woman knows a thing or 2 about how to hurt your mouth. AND I PAY FOR IT!!!:bang:

we are going to have to get the transcripts of the trial, as she was undoubtedly asked that question during her testimony. I, too, would like to read her answer.

Cool buzz....how do we get the transcripts.

Granny Wrinkles is not in very good humor today,

Earlier, having read this...I had some thoughts. Now, having become very cranky, I have some other thoughts.

I do a massage too. I think we should ask that the judge keep this guy in business for another week, and I book an appt. with him. During dental appts, I am prone to give my massage for free. The moment this jerk approaches me and says "open your mouth," I open fire with my cyclo knee and foot massage (also known as the "crotchetyGran crunch")! :D :D

But judge...

A. I have TMJ, this sometimes causes me "knee jerk" reactions.
B. I don't have restless legs, but I've been diagnosed with restless knees!

W

PS. This guy is a pervert. If he wants to earn money to support his family, tell him that there is a chain gang he can work on for about $3 bucks an hour and he can do triple shifts!

Oh that's too funny! :D

Unfortunately, I couldn't "relate" to patients in that way.....mine won't reach. :o

I used to hate going to the dentist. The woman who cleans my teeth does such a good job. It is painless, quick and she never squirts that air in my mouth....I can't take that. She also uses warm water to rinse my teeth...they are very sensitive. Gosh, I'm spoiled.

Freak! Great point about asking him to produce some male patients he treated this way!

Meet Margo...... You will pull your own teeth....And all she does is talk about her horses...... Like I care when I am dying of pain.. And my teeth are so clean.............. Maybe she is into watching patients whine.:twocents:

HOLY SMOKES YES!

That IS a great point, someone send that to the judge:
"Judge, tell this guy to give you the names and phone numbers of his male patients who got breast rubs."

I have actually seen judges ask for a phone number and call someone ON THE SPOT during the midst of a trial. OH that would be SOOOOOOOO good!

We do have another thread on this... I also had some other thoughts there:

It's ironic that the very place where this is all taking place is in Woodland, CA, and only six weeks ago, I was there testifying in another trial. The woman who was doing the transcription in that case, approached me when we broke for lunch, and asked me if I knew a certain person, who also worked for Lochheed Martin. Now, i need to put this in perspective. Lockheed is a huge company. At one time they had 35,000 people employed at the location where I worked. So you can understand that only once previously, did I actually know someone they asked about, and I have been asked that question 100's of times. But it turned out I knew the guy she asked about. And not only that, we worked in the same area/project at one time. so this was a rarity. And not only that, we worked on the same project, and even the same job. And not only that, he was one of these very competitive guys. And lo, and behold, I am also of that same competitive nature. He made a very big mistake when he tried to compete with me in my specialty. Needless to say, we didn't get along worth a damn. The woman who asked me turned out to be his cousin. Turns out he retired to Gold Beach, Oregon, and was playing a lot of golf, and traveling. I told her we butted heads but didn't want to tell her how bad it was. I thought I would let him blow off steam, and tell his side. He's the one that always came out on the short end.

So anyway, I have a contact among the transcribers at the Woodland, CA courthouse. She grew up in Woodland, and worked full-time at the Courthouse for many years, but now lives in Oregon, and only contracts for selected cases at the Woodland Courthouse--this one was seven weeks long. She has lots of family still in the area.

I'm actually off work today because I have an appointment with my dentist later this arvo. Sooooo.....I'm going to tell him.....

"I have been diagnosed with Temporo-Mandibular Joint Disorder by another dentist, do you need to massage my breasts?"

I'll let you know what his reaction is, lol.

To call a victim of sexual assault "stupid" is just plain cruel and is a good example of the cruelty that surrounds sexual assault. Fear of being treated this way by those around them--friends, family, and strangers alike--is one reason why it's so difficult still today for victims of sexual assault to come forward. This is especially true in cases where the balance of power between the perpetrator and the victim is unequal, e.g. where the perpetrator is a medical professional, teacher, or parent.

Hoppy

These are grown women who probably have been going to the dentist twice a year since they were a year old. SURELY they know better than to think this is really what is supposed to be happening at the DENTIST.:bang:

There is a difference between knowing and being able to get oneself out of the situation.
