Welcome, OnbekendeBron!! First, I am glad to have you here but so sorry about your experiences. And thank you for the crash course in looking for other victims. To be clear, I would never ask anyone to contact me directly. I would only point people in the direction of the appropriate LE officer or DA.
I learned the hard way that I should not have even accepted the disclosures of my own children. That was a huge issue in our own trial. I was painted as an "agent of the state" as I was asked to write down what the children said to me. Of course, that argument was discarded and we did get a conviction. The DA, however, was very committed to preserving the "purity" of the case. So, I do understand.
I've worried about the Bradley case ever since I read that parents are being allowed to meet in support groups and talk about the abuse. We were forbidden to talk to our own children in the privacy of our home for the 10 months it took to come to trial. That was miserably difficult with hurting children.
In case you haven't read this entire thread, I am the adoptive mother of a young man who was evaluated at age 5 1/2 by Ayres in San Mateo County. My heart goes out to you.
Welcome.
