When the 9th circuit shoots down an appeal....you ain't gonna go nowhere.

From the Mercury News article:
Holmes’ lawyers did not immediately respond to questions about whether Holmes planned to appeal, or to seek a pardon from President Donald Trump.

She could ask the Ninth Circuit to re-hear the case in front of a larger panel of judges, or seek review by the U.S. Supreme Court. <snip>

The panel’s ruling upheld the $452 million Holmes, and her co-accused, former Theranos president Sunny Balwani, have been ordered to pay in restitution. It also upheld Balwani’s conviction on a dozen felony fraud counts, and his prison sentence of nearly 13 years.

An appeal by Holmes to the U.S. Supreme Court would represent a long-shot, statistically, as its justices only hear about 100 to 150 appeals per year of the more than 7,000 it is typically asked to review, according to the courts system.

Except he is 100% transactional. She has nothing to offer him really.

But he may admire her for the ambitious con. I could see him freeing her and putting her in charge of the Office of Science and Technology. jmo

Oh God, that's exactly what he'd do.

“I am more determined than ever to fight for my freedom," Holmes says, writing via email from a federal prison in Texas. "And I know that when the truth finally comes out I will be proven innocent."
Uh no! The evidence already came out that she defrauded patients AND investors. Her device didn't work!!! False Cancer and miscarriage results.

Poor naive Elizabeth - used and abused by her mean, controlling boyfriend / COO / partner in crime. Blah, blah, blah...

Now, when she’s not busy reforming the entire criminal justice system, she’s still writing patents for her imaginary medical inventions. She should have been barred for life from being involved in anything even remotely related to healthcare.

She’ll always be a menace to society because she’ll never admit she did anything wrong. She’s a legend in her own evil, twisted mind.

It's paywalled for me, but I get the gist of it. Holmes couldn't use her sexual wiles and phony voice on a smart woman like this professor- who actually did evaluate her for the content of her ideas.
Nothing new. It's a repeat of an article Originally Published: June 3, 2019 at 8:38 AM PDT.

In February, she made a bid to get out of prison, which was shot down.

The San Jose Mercury News reports in a court filing this week, her attorneys are arguing that the judges were confused and "illogical" when hearing their evidence in February.

Holmes' team is asking for the judges to rehear her appeal case.

This is what I find most dangerous about her. She will never see or admit how awful the things she did were. Once out, she will be worse than ever IMO.
Can you say Narcissistic Sociopath? Only she uses phony medical technology to harm people rather than conventional weapons like guns and knives.

She’s lucky no one (that we know of) died from relying on her phony blood tests. If she hadn’t been shut down it was just a matter of time.

One was misdiagnosed with Cancer, another with a miscarriage. Traumatic enough.

Elizabeth Holmes, nothing new. Everyone in prison has been wrongly accused, false information, on and on...
