Grandiosity, braggadocio, and flimsy promises are the hallmarks of many start up companies in Silicon Valley. And many of them fail, and there is no crime in that, her defense is correct. However, when you start out right lying to investors, doctoring reports, covering up negative lab results, and in danger in peoples lives with results that you know to be false, that's where this crosses the line into fraud and crime. I hope the prosecution will make this very clear. And also that she was clearly in charge. She sure was "girl boss" when it suited her, and now she's a shrinking violet in an abusive relationship?
