OK I am not naive & I don't always want to believe the best in people because humans are unpredictable creatures. Oh and I previously worked in LE (Intelligence dept). BUT, I am still not 100% sure MG did anything to Ember... I can't help but wonder if there any remote chance he was actually going somewhere because he knew someone had her. It was one of my suggested scenarios when we first heard that he had obtained a weapon. Plus the fact he wouldn't "surrender" to police means either he's guilty & thick and didn't believe they would kill him OR he was so sure of his innocence he didn't want to be arrested and not get to where he was intending to go.

Damnit, he's dead, yet there are still no answers. This one will bug me until we find out!

I too have this thought. That maybe she was taken/sold through something he did... and that possibly he wanted to find her to show the world that he didn't harm her rather than just admitting what he did. Wishful thinking on my part maybe.

Has anyone said why MG/family doesn't feel like LE followed up on all leads? What does anyone have to gain by focusing on a so-called "innocent" man and letting a kidnapper get away? I'm not saying LEs never make mistakes, but it sure would have been a lot easier for them if Ember really was in a hospital in OR. And if they were just out to get MG, it sure seems like he gave them plenty of opportunities without them pinning a fake crime on him. JMO

I am more than willing to keep an open mind about MG. I've wondered if he was set up. I'd like to know more about his relationship with his wife and her family and why they had been separated and whose idea it was for her and the baby to move in with him in that awful, unsanitary little trailer. How serious was baby Ember's condition. All of this could affect MG's state of mind.

I think if he wanted that sighting checked out, he should have asked family to go with him or lend him a car, or go themselves. I don't think he would have thought, I need to go check out that sighting, so I better steal a gun and cash and use the gun to steal a car.

Babies have seizures all the time - a hospital admitting a 9 month old for seizures in Oregon is HIGHLY unlikely to have anything to do with Ember.

No, he has a brother about 2-4 years younger. They seemed close on SM and look like twins.

Let's assume the tip was valid - where is the baby from the ER now? I would think a tip would go thru an LE system . Even if MG saw one too many movies and tried a rescue attempt - I would think he would have told the people he stole the car from and they would have told the media. The Graham's had the media at their disposal for days - they could have called any news station with that info if LE wasn't responsive .

Babies need to be identified before they would be given treatments, meds, tests, etc. One cannot kidnap a baby and then take them to an ER for emergency care without showing some proof of who the baby belongs to. The emergency staff is going to treat a child who is having a seizure. But then they will keep them until they find out the child's identity if there is any question.

And certainly MG's mother would know this, being former LE. Even if we allow that MG was acting impulsively and not thinking it through it doesn't explain why he chose to "follow up" on this tip right after learning about the pacifier. WG can make all the excuses he wants but he'll never have a satisfactory answer for the timing. MG knew it was Ember's pacifier, that's why he ran. There is no other rational explanation.

Seems like there are 2 main exes - Alyssa and Alicia but I've seen both referenced to have a son named Tyler. Bit confused!

Tyler with Alicia A. The Prayers for Ember page is run by her. I don't recall any more children but the other was an ex as well according to his posts .
