Correct, and if you know that area and that creek, he is not kidding when he says the current is strong. It looks so shallow and slow, but that's deceiving. It could carry a "bundle" for miles (I think he threw 15 miles out there).

So now we need to ask ourselves who was on that flyer. How do we find out? Was it the mom or did he have a girlfriend? If he saw them at the bridge at 3 am would he have enough time to get back to his trailer and report her missing by 5:30 am? Where is this creek in relation to the trailer. Anyone know?

Maybe the police told him not to go. I would think, if this is credible, that LE wouldn't want him to be meeting the reporter.

Keep in mind there is 1) no proof of a phoned in "tip"; 2) no proof of what was said in the conversation, if one did occur; 3) no proof that said tipster was telling the truth. In addition, the source is non-MSM. That's not to say it can't be true, but there's virtually nothing to go on except one person's word.

Therefore it's a long stretch from A to B, and I'd caution members to maintain a healthy amount of skepticism, and not to get carried away. At the very least, posts which state the story as "fact" will be snipped or removed.
