I brought your suggestion to Tricia's attention this aft, and while it will not be in Websleuths' name, WS is prepared to host a dedicated thread in the Spotlight on Children sub forum. The thread will be a place for members to gather, share, organize, to help each other in going forward in Emmanuel's name in whatever campaign they think will be suitable and effective in working toward such reforms as you describe.

Perhaps it is fitting going forward that the name Emmanuel is about divine presence and protection ... a legacy in honour of precious little Emmanuel.

I guess Riverside County will have jurisdiction for prosecution, since that's where the home (Cabazon) is located. Anyone think cameras will be allowed in court?

Same county and same D.A who signed off on JH's guilty plea deal.
One day out of the 180 day sentence in jail so the sheriff could process him then the rest on a work program.
4 yrs probation and some kind of parenting course.

He was the trial team leader for child abuse cases.
You can't make this up...

Do we have knowledge of how many people lived in the home in Cabazon? I have heard unsubstantiated rumors but cannot recall mention from MSM. If more than Jake, Rebecca and the 2 kids, then how was he not seen in weeks?

But defense lawyer Vincent Hughes told The Post that Jake Haro has denied any involvement in his child’s disappearance.

Hughes is only speaking on behalf of the father — and not also the mother — to avoid any potential conflicts of interest. He said he has represented the father in past criminal cases.

Hughes insisted there shouldn’t be a nexus between the past criminal charge and the new legal trouble his client is now facing.
“The criminal justice system is about reform, he completed the child abuse class, he did what he was told to do. I don’t really see how if somebody has a charge, any future charge means that they did it,” he said as the attorney complained he’s faced a of death threats and verbal abuse since the missing child case gained traction.

“I’m being completely dragged through the mud because I’m giving somebody what they are constitutionally protected and afforded it,” said Hughes".

Personally I cannot fathom how JH got multiple women to marry him, and/or bear him children. All of whom suffered, except hopefully not the two-year old daughter.

No slight against that general area in California. My niece and her boyfriend just moved from New Jersey to Palm Desert California, which they love. Their area is very suburban, though, not isolated as the Haro’s home appears to be.

My impression of that house and property is of despair and violence. It looks haunted to me, and now it really is. Whatever they did to destroy Emmanuel, I imagine at least some or most of it happened in that house.

When you adopt someone, you are legally responsible for the child. I am unsure what you are trying to say. If a married couple adopts a child, both are legally responsible (for life) in the same way biological parents are.

Were they foster children instead?

Anyway, in none of the US states is this true. If it's a legal adoption - but are saying it wasn't? If it wasn't an adoption, let's use a different term.

If he pleaded guilty to child cruelty in June 2023, they were already together when he did his time. That seems like it would have been the perfect opportunity to leave him...

Their 2 yr old daughter was born during the 2023 timeline.

2018 is when his 10 week old daughter was taken to the hospital near death.
2023 was his guilty plea sweetheart deal.
I don't have the months for either year but JH was free during that time period.
