I am SO grateful that you found a legitimate source for this picture of an even younger Emmanuel.

Yes, in the tan-colored onesie, he looks like any tiny baby. Flailing the arms, a tiny smile, his eyes appear to be searching normally, he’s spreading his fingers a bit as though he’s beginning to learn to grasp.

In every other picture we’ve seen, his eyes are cross-eyed, his mouth is perpetually turned down in a grimace, his hands are always in fists, (which to me appear swollen or something).

It’s just too terrible. Whatever caused this, and most of us appear to feel the same, he was NOT born with these defects/issues/problems.

Best guess as I am no baby expert, but I think about 2 to 2-1/2 months?? Possibly younger.

Holding hands leaving the court house, so they are not flipping on each other.

I actually was searching for source of something else and that thumbnail came up on YT. Watched it all to make sure that photo was in there....Dumb luck pretty much.

Or just for the cameras?

The 1st. Her child is the only one who was left unharmed in his past.
The children with the second were the ones who were adopted by his cousin because of the horrible abuse.

The abused children weren't adopted by JH's cousin, they were adopted by the cousin of the children's mother.

One of the links that mention the relationship:

<modsnip: Removed name of child who is not the victim in this case>

Re. Jake's lawyer making a point that he has turned over all his devices and passwords to LE, I'm putting money on Jake has multiple devices, some of which have been handed over, some of which have not. Maybe some have been buried in the desert.

That may not be all buried in the desert.

IIMO it is not about syntax. They put their personal phone numbers on the flyer and left law enforcement out of it completely. That tells me they were not remotely interested in Emmanuel being found. Because IMO the sole reason for the flyer was to bolster their kidnapping story. Thus no reason to even call LE. Last thing they want.

Phone numbers were disconnected, but I presume that is because they were in LE's possession right quick and disabled. Or perhaps they used old phone numbers vs current on that. Who knows. But they were not LE contact numbers.
I wonder if they designed the poster ahead of time? LE has their computers and I'm sure they will find the file if they designed it themselves at home - and when.

I had a neighbor whose baby had Fetal Alcohol Syndrome, and the very first time I saw the photo of Emmanuel, I suspected he had it as well
AFAIAA, FAS is entirely down to the mother's drinking during pregnancy. Whatever else Jake Haro may have done, I don't think we can blame him for any of his kids having FAS.

I'm surprised they are sticking together, tbh. Didn't expect that to last long.

It's a smart move for one of them. imo

Leaving baby alone in vehicle. I have issues with that, even if not in hot SoCal.
It's definitely hot in SoCal this time of year.

If anything, they had a way to call 911 to complain about the media trespassers on their porch. Could be a landline, I guess. But I bet not.

They've had time to get replacement phones by now, imo.

I know I have an unpopular opinion but I don't like to see mobs surround the houses of suspects. It's ugly behavior, imo. We have a rule of law in this nation, not mob rule.

THIS IS NOT A DEFENSE OF ANYONE and I don't "feel sorry" for the parents. It's possible to suspect the parents, judge their actions, and join public opinion against them at the same time as not liking mobs forming.

I agree with that. Regardless of our personal opinions, they are innocent until proven guilty. They shouldn't be harassed.

I was actually was watching some YouTube videos on this last night and it appears that there are some people that are just live streaming from outside the house waiting for them to be arrested which is terribly invasive. Not only for them but probably for their neighbors as well.

Maybe she understands that he would find a way to blame her exclusively, like the mother of the child he was convicted of abusing. He even went so far as to file a restraining order against her and claim she abused him.

I disagree. I think communities should rightfully protest illegal behavior. The trespassing is of course illegal. I have seen maybe, at most 10 people outside their house so far, so that doesn't seem like a mob to me. Plus a mob is defined as a large group of people who are intent on committing violence or destruction. Most of them are there to attempt to shame the parents and let them know they are not fooling the general public. People are rightfully outraged that this family would murder their baby and play on the heart strings of the public in an attempt to cover their crime. The law is subject to "innocent until proven guilty" in taking action against them. The public's only recourse is to protest. IMO.

Or maybe she's the one that did something to Emmanuel and he understands that because he has a criminal record he's more likely to get blamed and people are less likely to believe that she did it, so he's sticking by her.

That's definitely a possibility but I personally, would not give him the benefit of the doubt. Especially since her ex-husband stepped forward and had only positive things to say about her.

IMO, that's harassment, they aren't "protesting".
