The problem for her, IMO, is that she didn't assist police/prosecutors when she knew he was in police custody and she was not in danger of violence from him. It points to her complicity in the death, IMO.

Further, since Jake pled guilty. The DA has no need for her help to provide any testimony to prosecute him. So along with your point, I don’t know what her spin will be on not guilty? Particularly if Jake provides a statement on her role, as part of his plea bargain?

I wouldn't trust him to give an honest account. I think he's pleading because he knows they can prove the kidnapping was a ruse, not because he has a conscience.

IMO, little Emmanuel's body is not recoverable. I feel if he was, the monster sperm donor would have given that up by now.

One can only hope. I am starting to think that where they first took Jake to not long after he was arrested was in fact where they dumped his poor little body but that animals had got to him.

If finding his remains tells a story about what happened to him that may be worse than anything we would consider. I figured that was why they disposed of his remains to begin with.

I can’t remember, does Rebecca have anything in her history regarding abusing or neglecting her children? I keep thinking she doesn’t and can’t understand how/why she let this happen to Emmanuel. He was such a beautiful baby. With those long eyelashes and a head full of hair.

What Jake did to his baby girl, a brand new infant and he basically tortured her, only true evil could do that and still walk among decent people, breathing the same air they breathe. Claim to be innocent, claim to be forced or tricked into accepting a plea where he walked out of prison after 1 day! Then doing it again! How he can look at his own reflection and not want to unalive himself, I dont understand.

LE said Jake was not cooperating or not assisting in the search that day, right? I thought they may have searched there because of their cell phone triangulation or his cellmate who let him talk then ratted him out. I wondered if they brought him along hoping to get a response out of him. They brought S&R dogs & cadaver dogs there and the dogs didn’t alert. Wouldn’t the dogs have reacted if Emmanuel’s remains had been there? The odd thing about that area is it would’ve been more difficult to hide something out there with a high chance of being seen by someone. Where if he had gone east he had a whole, huge desert with no people for miles! I think LE doesn’t think Jake put any effort into disposing of his baby at all. I think they believe he dumped that beautiful little boy in a dumpster and walked away planning his abduction story. I wish LE had put more effort into finding Emmanuel since they said they had an idea, why didn’t they try to prove it?

BBM - there has never been anything mentioned about her older children who live with her ex-husband.

There would have to be a verifiable bombshell revelation, in order for me to feel she should escape a thirty year prison sentence.

Absolutely. I’m not trying to exonerate her in anyway, I’m just trying to understand what happened.
At the very least she didn’t protect her baby from a monster and she assisted in that ridiculous kidnapping story, Not only did she go along with it but she playacted his abduction by walking around their truck, opening the door then falling to the ground, as if that made the whole thing more believable

We already know Jake has no problem torturing babies. He and his former breeder lost custody of both of their children. He didn’t harm Faith and then learn his lesson. But Rebecca has a few other kids, they all survived. She & Jake have a little girl who is alive and well. So what happened with Emmanuel? Why didn’t she protect him? I really hope she doesn’t take a plea bargain. Maybe some of these questions will be answered in a trial.

So how will the sentencing on November 3rd go down? Will it be televised? Will we learn anything new? Or will this just be a reading of the charges and the Judge determining if Jake fully understands his plea and what that means (no future appeals).

What about Rebecca’s preliminary hearing? Will we get a preview of her defense strategy?

9/16/25 Update: The parents of baby Emmanuel are expected to appear in court Tuesday as prosecutors & defense attorneys explore resolving the case through a possible plea agreement. Today Jake Haro's attorney’s filed to push back the felony settlement conference & even though Rebecca Haro's Attorney objected, the judge granted that request. The new date for the felony settlement conference will be on 10/16/25 & the start of the preliminary hearings will be on 10/28/25. Which will be where the judge determines if there is enough evidence, or "probable cause," to believe a crime was committed.
10/16/25 Update: Jake Haro pleaded guilty to all charges, which include second-degree homicide, filing a false police report & assault of a child under 8; great bodily injury resulting in death. The Riverside County DA's office noted that the plea was made straight to the judge, without negotiations between the defense & prosecution. Jake Haro faces a potential sentence of 25 years to life in prison. He is set to be sentenced on 11/3/25 @ 8:30am. Rebecca Haro, did not plead guilty; the case against her will continue. She is also charged with Emmanuel's murder, along with filing a false police report & other charges. Next for Rebecca pretrial conference hearing on 10/28/25 @ 8:30am & a preliminary hearing on 11/3/25.

I truly hope they have to give up the location. Why RH is sticking to the "hola" story is beyond me.

I doubt she will stick with it at all. It will likely morph into a DV scenario, where she feared for her life, and was forced to play a role by Jake.
