Chances are they both end up going protective custody because of how high profile this case has become
Again: The sistem protect them. And no one protected E.

He's going to flood the investigation with lie after lie after lie. And she is going to stick to one lie. imo

And I think both approaches will work against them at trial. The jury will see the lies for what they are - efforts to make sure the body is never found.

I suspect the body was so abused before/after death they have a primal instinct to be ashamed. And I also suspect they hope that no body = no murder. imo

They will be convicted, imo.

I hope so

He went into hiding after that last interview with Ashley Banfield. Said he was getting death threats ...
I'm not surprised

For herself. My opinion.
Agreed. There's no reason to be afraid for Emmanuel anymore. And she didn't really seem afraid for him when he was alive, at least not enough to protect him.

I thought this was interesting. Steve Fischer -- SF Investigates -- posted this Tuesday morning on "X." At 10:30am on Aug 26, he received a communication from the Riverside County DA's Office concerning his tweet about JH receiving a 180 day sentence in 2013 (179 days served through work release.)

For those who don't have "X," this is a quote from the post:

They wanted to clarify that the Riverside County DA objected to the sentencing of Jake Haro. The judge acknowledged the objection on the record but proceeded to sentence him over the DA’s objection. The DA’s Office wanted it to be clear that they did not offer that sentence and were not in agreement with it.

(If this has been previously reported, I have missed it. I wonder if it will come up in the press conference with the DA that is scheduled for Wednesday morning.)

I was blaming the prosecutor ! So this judge needs to be voted out if possible. What was it about Jake that the judge thought he deserved only 1 day in jail ?

I guess in the picture, to me, she seems to have a knowing look. Like, this is what involvement with that man got me.

You really can't tell from a picture. People in the court room said she looked terrible, like she was detoxing. She kept looking at him when they asked her questions.

@22:00 "what's a profession?"

Alrighty then.
Wow. It sounds like 1. grifting, defrauding, and lazing about pretty much ARE the family professions and 2. RH is EXTRA slow.

I hope those older daughters are all okay. All the kids including the 2-year-old also, of course, but she seems like on paper she has the best chance.

I think they are con artists through and through, plus one was dumb enough to marry a baby abuser. imo

I think they assumed they could con LE.

And, in addition to being cons, I think they simply do.not.care that they are despicable. Trying to find decency in either one is fruitless because if you think you find some, you've been conned.

"District Attorney Mike Hestrin, along with Sheriffs Chad Bianco and Shannon Dicus, will hold a news conference with an update on the case on Wednesday morning.

We'll have live coverage of the news conference beginning at 10 a.m. Wednesday."

I must have missed the news conferences DA Mike Hestrin held when JH was charged in 2021 with almost beating his 10 week old daughter to death and left her paralyzed , not being able to talk, with a feeding tube and only 3% of brain function and then his 2023 sentencing?
Oh wait.

imo

if she has a brain cell left in her head, she should turn on him and tell the truth - he's playacting like he hates her for what she did by ignoring her in court
No doubt she had at least one opportunity between the death of Emmanuel and her "hola" to get to LE that JH murdered their son, that is if he did it and she had no involvement.
Too late now to beg for mercy.

And there's one sensitive injury that has been given no mention. The one he tried to presplain as occurring when he dropped her on the sink divider. That is not how that happens. Interior injury. Of a 10 week old baby. This man is chronically violent. Baby Emmanual HAS TO BE found so that his poor body can tell his sad truth for him. IMO that baby was abused and murdered over time.

Given his appalling history, why this man was free to do so defies humanity.

Probably detoxing from a co dependant relationship. JMO

That's the saddest aspect of so many of these cases !

Cue the landfill search. MOO
Was thinking the same.
Disgusting that Imo this vile pair is hoping that by the time Emmanuel is found there will be no cause of death to be determined. 😭

Rebecca Haro was spotted at the same store days before the kidnapping report, allegedly asking management if there were exterior security cameras because her car had been burglarized in the parking lot, according to KTLA.

Sounds like premeditation to me.

In an entire family of grifters, where we learned from MSM that Jake alone filed six Workmen’s Comp claims, they seem to me to be well-practiced at spinning tales to get what they want.

So it appears that they were setting up another con job, only this one was a plot to dispose of their baby. Too stupid and too evil to realize that when you allege your baby was kidnapped in a public place, you’re going to get a whole lot more scrutiny than they apparently received from their other con jobs.

I now have zero sympathy for her if she was ever a victim of JH. She could have walked into a police station or a hospital to get help for herself and her children, but her choice was to go to the store to check out the security system and lay the groundwork for this absurd and hideous kidnapping tale.

I do wonder if their next move was going to be pleading for a fundraiser to help find their “kidnapped” child. You know, the “Missing Kid.”

ETA: I’d be curious to know if RH filed a police report on this alleged burglary of her car in that parking lot. I would be astounded if she did.

Finally someone stepped in and asked the $64,000 question to the DA Hespin.

Under certain specific circumstances the prosecution can appeal a judges sentence, like under "deviation from mandatory sentence" for almost brutally murdering a 10 week old infant and we know the final state JH left her in.
The judge had full access to her medical records and photos.
So..did DA Hespin file an appeal because if there ever was a case that would warrant an appeal it is this one.
Something tells me he didn't even consider doing so.

IIRC: Hespin asked for only 6 yrs for JH's sentence which is another failure on his part.
