*Felony Settlement/Trial Readiness Conference Hearings for both (@ 8:30am PT) – CA - Emmanuel Haro (7 mos. old) reported kidnapped by mother on Aug. 14, 2025. He was last seen on Aug. 5, 2025. Still missing. *Rebecca Renee Haro (41) "mother" arrested (8/22/25), charged (8/26/25) & arraigned (9/4/25) with 1st degree murder & filing a false police report. Plead not guilty [9/4/25]. Held without bond. Bond set (8/26/25) at $1M CASH only. Riverside County

9/4/25 Update: The Riverside County Public Defender's Office has assigned Deputy Public Defenders Allison Lowe & Paulette Garthwaite to represent Jake & Rebecca will be represented by private attorney Jeff Moore, who was appointed by the court. A Cabazon couple pleaded not guilty in court Thursday at their arraignment on murder & other charges. Along with murder, both are charged with filing a false police report. The child's parents appeared at a joint arraignment in Riverside County Superior Court. The judge also scheduled a felony settlement/trial readiness conference hearing on 9/16/25 & a preliminary hearing on 9/17/25. Each defendant is being held at separate jails in lieu of $1 million bail.
9/16/25 Update: The parents of baby Emmanuel are expected to appear in court Tuesday as prosecutors & defense attorneys explore resolving the case through a possible plea agreement. Today Jake Haro's attorney’s filed to push back the felony settlement conference & even though Rebecca Haro's Attorney objected, the judge granted that request. The new date for the felony settlement conference will be on 10/16/25 & the start of the preliminary hearings will be on 10/28/25. Which will be where the judge determines if there is enough evidence, or "probable cause," to believe a crime was committed.

Huh? This doesn’t seem like new info. I’m in a different time zone. Have the hearings already occurred

This is Pacific Time - so in about 8 hours for the hearing. I am in Europe so I am posting this quite early.

Interesting that you noted his picture. Something I have noticed on WS with little ones who are killed by their parents or caregivers, is a lack of pictures. Maybe one or two, often not very good pictures.

Good grief. I have more pictures of my cat in a day, than we see of these abused children. Contrast with the numerous and literal plethora of pictures for Jacob and Mark Iskander, two young boys killed by Rebecca Grossman, in a DUI. So many pictures of these boys, obviously cherished.

I just find it interesting. Does that mean that abusive parents didn't acknowledge their children, or want pictures of them? Or would pictures have shown abuse?

Sounds like the defense attorneys want a plea deal back on the 9/16 hearing - which was reset for today. There is a preliminary hearing on the 28th in my notes also. We will have see what happens today.

Maybe not. JH had a prior conviction, he probably didn't want to take his chances with a trial. But people are tired of parents hurting their kids. The jury may throw the book at her.

I admit, I am surprised at this plea. Expected both parents to point the finger at one another. If she actually does take this thing to trial I do hope he is required to testify. I do believe she was abused by her husband. I just don't think it is any excuse for allowing him to abuse to death the baby boy she allegedly always wanted.

I just watched a video from someone live with the news outside court and he mentioned a document that will be released from the Lomo Linda, which I understand to be a medical centre/hospital.
Anyone any idea what information that may contain?
