Within this reporting I heard Rebecca state the attacker punched her. Also the reporter stated that LE showed up to their house today and knocked with no answer. The story also said their Tacoma truck was taken by LE on Friday.

Hope they don’t flee!!

Jake says he and Rebecca have two kids, but they have a blended family of six.

Also said she was was changing the baby on the back seat of the pickup truck. So that must be the Tacoma that was seized Friday.

Also - absolute failure of the justice system that JH only spent six months in jail for giving an infant such horrendous injuries. I'm truly speechless that any judge agreed to that.

Snipped by me.
Welll, she has a sibling that was convicted of a violent murder about a decade ago (?) and is in prison.

Her mother, MB, also spoke to MSM at the time (you can find the MSM articles if you search her name) regarding how he was a good person, he would never..., etc. It is public info and was in MSM, but mods please delete if this info is against the rules.

Here is one source.

Moo.
The surname seems to be German. I know folks have been speculating about English possibly being the mother's second language. Are they from a German speaking country perhaps? Not really relevant to anything. Except that it makes the fact she is blaming the supposed kidnapping on a mysterious Mexican seem even more Papini-esque (as opposed to it being the case of a Latina throwing other immigrants under the bus to cover up her own wrongdoing.)

I guess , the truth of it is , we really cannot ever call Jake an innocent victim. How are we as a group, which invest time into being aware, and helping people supposed to support him after knowing he already has caused great harm to one of his own children?
(i dunno if or who of us helps the world, I know I do)
Yeah once a person has laid hands on an INFANT, they're not getting any sympathy from me no matter what happens to them or has happened to them.

, Haro and Avina's 10-week-old daughter was admitted to Hemet Valley Hospital.
Doctors reported to police that the little girl had an
'acute" fractured rib, six ribs with "healing" fractures, a skull fracture, brain hemorrhage, swelling of the neck and a fractured leg bone that was "healing."

Vanessa Haro, also known as Vanessa Avina, according to the document, told officers that she had picked up Jake Haro from work and dropped him off at home on Oct. 12 before driving to Beaumont to pick up her eldest daughter from school. She returned about an hour later and tried to nurse the infant, but she would not drink. Vanessa took the baby to a hospital.

Jake Haro told investigators that after Vanessa dropped him off, he took the baby’s temperature and found it to be 99-100 degrees. He bathed the baby and accidentally dropped it chest-first on the divider of the twin-basin sink. He could not detect any injuries.

That night, Vanessa woke up Jake and asked him to feel the baby’s back. He felt something “crackle,” the affidavit says. Jake told the investigator that he did not feel the crackle after bathing the infant.
Jake Haro was sentenced to 180 days in the sheriff’s work-release program, given a suspended four-year prison sentence and was ordered to attend a child abuser treatment program. Vanessa Haro was sentenced to 120 days in the work-release program and ordered to attend the child abuser treatment program.
When I read those descriptions and the sentence... wow.
I'd like to know how those 2 ended up with a suspended sentence, seriously, can someone try to explain how that happened?

I thought it said 180 days work release program, not just jail?

For starters:

Here's the DA who had to sign off on both the Haro's plea deals.
Though it remained for the judge to approve the deal.
imo

I was glad to at least hear this story on the radio this evening, so It is getting media coverage in the LA area now.
Hoping Emanuel is found soon.✨

Becky is probably in the most danger she has ever been in .
The stress is high and Jake has no coping skills , apparently.
He is probably aware they will both be jailed soon. I hope he dont kill her.

I'm of the opinion that it will end up being the parent(s). But one thing I thought was strange is, the Dad wearing a hoodie in those interviews. Is it cold enough to wear a hoodie there? Just struck me as odd.
Today was an "okay" day as far as the heat. Low 90s. But, too hot for a sweatshirt, imo

That poor 10 wk old baby had signs of 'healing' fractures, so the physical abuse was ongoing, in a tiny newborn!

AND signs of 'nutritional neglect'? So they weren't feeding her?

Is that why they beat her? Because she was crying from hunger??????
FWIW, it babies only cry for hunger so long before they give it up and conserve their energy. My friend has a foster kiddo and by the time she got him at three weeks he no longer cried or fussed when hungry. She had to feed him on schedule.

"He served as Trial Team Leader for the District Attorney’s Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Unit, demonstrating his commitment to seeking justice for victims of child abuse"
"He has prioritized tough prosecution of serious and violent felonies"

"demonstrating his committment" and priotitizing tough prosecution with a suspended sentence.

Not sure if this is the same as the classes they were ordered to take .
A new state law cracks down on accountability for providers of parenting classes that are often court-ordered in child abuse and neglect cases but have gone unregulated and have failed to keep children out of danger.

from here After Times investigation, Newsom signs bill to crack down on parent requirements in child abuse cases

Yeah, because a woman alone in the evening with a baby parks were there is no lighting. A mom who needs to change a diaper does so where there is no lighting.

Not.

Sounds as though violence was normalised in the RH family. Mention of a second brother who was harassing his partner the murder victims family and friends.
Is he doing time now still can anyone see?
MOO

Maybe that is pretty much always how he looks, due to something like low muscle tone.
Okay, thank you, I didn't realised that there could be genuine health reasons behind it.

I wish we could protect babies and childeren better.

Nobody with history like Jake's should be allowed anywhere near children.
It's infuriating.

Not necessarily saying that mum’s black eye happened exactly when she said it did - just thought I’d point out that in my experience bruises don’t always follow the timeline we often see in online guides.
Your bruise got darker and more pronounced, which is a normal development actually. Emmanuel's mom's bruise had though this distinct yellowish colouring that appears when the haemoglobin in bruise gets metabolised to bilirubin and is typical for older injuries.

These classes aren’t intended for this level of abuse though, it’s expected these parents go to jail, and while we reunification exists , generally these should be one and done situations. these classes are meant for parent who hit because they don’t understand discipline or need resources or minor intervention not cause brain damage in an infant

CPS is a big giant bag of failure in every single state, but they were not intended to handle people like this. Jail was meant to. Knowing what we know about CPS workers, I have no doubt that they probably dropped the ball in this case just like every other case, but the judge and DA should have charges against against them as far as I’m concerned, and until we start holding people legally accountable for doing things like this, it doesn’t change
