On August 14, 2025, at about 7:47 p.m., deputies from the Yucaipa Station responded to the 34000 block of Yucaipa Boulevard regarding a reported missing seven-month-old boy.

This is an active investigation, and we are seeking the public’s help in locating the child. He was last seen wearing a black Nike onesie, he weighs about 21 pounds, is approximately 24 inches tall, has brown hair, brown eyes, and is cross-eyed.

If you have any information, please call 911 or Sheriff’s Dispatch at 909-387-8313. No additional information is available at this time.

(Please read the comments following the Yucaipa PD post on FB. If true, this is a very alarming situation. Since the PD hasn't released the details, I assume that they are verifying the facts before making them public, but they wanted to circulate the baby's picture and description as soon as possible.)

So at seven months this child has length of a newborn? Ummm... And what were the circumstances of his vanishing? It's not like he decided to take a stroll in the town.

Looks like he may have something going on physically?

Crappy situation, sounds like kidnapped bard on those comments. I hope he is found quickly

he is cross eyed per LE, and yes, it appears to me that there may be other medical or developmental issues involved.

That can be a benefit right now - he is distinguishable and noticeable.

Thinking of this little guy.

It seems like the initial height and weight are always wrong even for adults.

Sunset in Yucaipa was 7:35 last night, so it would have still been light out when police were called. No surveillance in the parking lot? No witnesses? IMO I wonder why the family has not provided a better/full-face photo of this little guy.

That is a strange “best picture” to have of your baby. It’s the periode parents & loved ones take the most and best pictures of a child.

Everything noticable shoud be as clear as can on the picture, it’s what makes him stand out against other babies.

As a mom of a babyboy this breaks my heart. Kids should/can NEVER be part of adults drama imo. He’s so vulnerable & needs around the clock care (food, diapers, possible medication, good temperature & hygiene). I can’t imagine losing your baby!

This is the third case in just a month or so that a child is reported missing.
Parents report a kidnapping after they have killed an disposed of child.
Won't be surprised if this what has happened in this case.

Deputies responded to the 34000 block of Yucaipa Boulevard, an area near a shopping center and several stores, just before 8 p.m. Thursday regarding a 7-month-old boy who was reported missing. According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department, a woman reported that she was attacked outside a retail store, and during the attack, the baby was taken.

Some of the comments, tbf, don't really ring true.

But, I can't be sure, of course.

Was the mother taken to the hospital to be checked?

Why no better photos? Why no mother pleading for child's safe return? Possibly this family is of limited means, or undocumented? I will be curious to learn more about this one because it is unusual how little we know of the circumstances involved in the abduction of this child.

It's not often that a random stranger attacks a mother out of nowhere in a public setting to abduct her infant child. Usually there is a custody issue or some known individual who is angry at the parent behind the abduction of small children. JMO

This one is odd.

This case is giving me a bad feeling. The story says "a woman reported" but never confirms that she is the mother (I assume so but it's odd for a news story to not say it directly). Did she get a good look at the man/woman who attacked her? Is there a reason the baby's name hasn't been revealed?

Bbm.
I've followed a fair amount of cases and this is a strange one.
Custody issue ?
Aside from that, it's an odd choice of venue for an abduction.
People around, plus security cameras.
Hope the little one is safely rescued !
Imo.
