Ach. The above sounds like the beginning of an LSAT question...
The violent criminal history of JH and the moonshot alleged abduction narrative are, as many have noted already, depressingly familiar. As is what we can expect to see next in terms of case developments, IMO:
- More evidence of cracks in the absurd RH story, from timing to specifics, including black eye, "Hola!/ racialized kidnapper, provable car locations, etc
- Ratcheting up of blaming behaviour from JH (he's got form here) and possibly between these parents and immediate family members
- Elucidation of evidence found during search pointing to possible harms inflicted on the wee man
- Intensive targeted searches and possible recovery of EH -- maybe via "tips" from involved parties
- Escalation of blame attributions between RH/ JH, all the way down the line
Plenty of other possibilities of course, including the possible reappearance of EH safe and sound by our mysterious kidnapper, but the many similar cases here at WS suggest otherwise.
Like many here, I'll be hoping for the best whilst expecting... the other.
