So, can someone help me out? We have spent weeks weaving the noose for CL. Now that LE has arrested CL for Erin's murder, and laid out part of their case, how did we get to the theory that NL really killed her and CL is taking the fall as punishment for "being a bad boy?"

How many of us would get in the car with our lover's wife, just the two of you, to go anywhere? I certainly wouldn't. Must less to go out in the middle of nowhere. And, if that's what happened, why did EC text her friend about CL taking her away for the day?

I think it's easy to come up with theories but we have to keep ourselves grounded with the evidence.

Check out the Diane Zamora case online. She was pretty devious, and you can lay out some of the same things she and her BF did, and insert them in this case.
Zamora hid in the back of a car as her BF picked up an alleged one time fling of his...........a few similarities.

Why wasn't EC's car found sooner, and was it there in the place it was found from the time she disappeared, or was it "staged" there? Timeline escapes me.

Yes, I did.....they would have to have been taken after July 4th (because his hair was longer in the mug shot) and before they left on the 16th. He may have gotten the military cut for discharge?? Would his hair and beard grow out that much in a month?

Just wondering because that haircut immediately caught my attention. I haven't seen other pictures of him with his hair that short.

I think the pregnancy is the only motive and all the implications that come with it. He didn't kill her because they were having an affair, he killed her because she got pregnant. IMO. What other reason would he have to kill her? It was because of the pregnancy and what it would mean to everything he held dear is why she's dead. IMO.

This is dumb, but I read all of her Pinterest posts; I can understand why IM may have felt protective of her given her clear love of CL and all her sad posts about forgiveness, etc. I want to believe she couldn't have done anything. But I also can't get over the fact that she has posted very few since EC disappeared, and of the few, one (in the week after the disappearance as far as I can tell) simply says "namaste, b@$#hes."
Even if she had nothing to do with it, it seems a weird thing to post on social media when your spouse is being investigated for murdering his lover. I would think nothing of it if it didn't appear to be the first post after EC's disappearance.

ETA: unless she is just, simply, angry. At the world. At CL. At EC.

It could be a farewell (since they were leaving) to all the gossipers or to those who talked to LE about the CL/EC affair.

We used to live in Nevada....trying to remember what kind of critters were around...coyotes?

I don't even think a hunting season is open at that time of the year, except for rabbits and Morning Doves? Everything has babies of one sort or another from April on, and they're still dependent on "mom" and maybe "dad".

I couldn't post the one directly from that story but I think I found the same picture on another site and posted it here also. (not that I wanted to look at that guy's face! but I know not everyone could get to the pic in the article)

If you are talking about the dark haired lady at the table at the 9 sec mark, that is not NL. Actually NL is not in that particular video at all.

So, then the possibilities would be that CL just delivers EC and stands around while NL kills her. Or he delivers her and they both kill her. Or he drops her off, runs off with his tail between his legs, and drives off while NL kills her. I think either of these might be possible if they were childless. But someone would have to watch their daughter for any of these options and I'm pretty sure LE would have looked into whether NL might have been an actual participant rather than an accessory after the fact.

If they were both there when EC was killed, this would have required someone to watch their daughter pretty early on a Sat morning- this would stand out to someone I would think. I think she definitely knew what happened and has helped to cover for CL. I think there is a very good chance she helped plan and/or clean up afterwards (if she only helped to move the car for instance, their daughter could have even been with them)

Some folks hair grow pretty fast, after killing someone you would think his would be falling out from worry, but guess not...
