The police detective said the tracks he thought matched the jeep didnt but the Crime Scene Specialist yesterday stated that they did find tracks that matched the jeep by Erin's car. I assume the first witness admitted to mistaking a certain set of tracks as the Jeep's on cross examination. I hope Mr. Nelson is able to clarify.
"He testified about the footprints that were seen leaving the driver's side of Erin's car, and towards another vehicle. Hurtado originally believed the tire tracks of that vehicle matched Chris Lee's jeep, but further investigation revealed they did not." (taken from blog)
"Susan Jaquez, a crime scene specialist for the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, also said a set of tire tracks found near where Corwin’s Toyota Corolla was located matched that of Lee’s Jeep."
