I did not see JVM. I do believe the witness. I agree he is credible. Maybe it was sunglasses.
To some people glasses are glasses whether sunglasses or regular glasses.

ETA: some regular glasses have lenses that will change to "sunglasses" based on the lighting. Four people in my family wear these.
One minute they have on regular glasses next minute sunglasses but they are the same glasses.

It's also entirely possible for somebody who wears glasses fulltime, to have prescription sunglasses that they change to. I do.

What I heard Michael Beasley describe to Jane Velez-Mitchell about the sighting of the woman he believes to be Erin that he saw was wearing a "baseball cap and sunglasses". Other posters are claiming that he previously described her with a ponytail and glasses.

I believe what you are saying. It could be as simple as Mr. Beasley being so shaken up by his being an eye witness to a missing pregnant woman case that he said glasses. Then, later, someone asks him was it glasses or sunglasses, then he reflects and slightly changes his description on JVM because he had more time to reflect on what he saw.

Now, what would be interesting to know about Erin - was she known to wear sunglasses?

Thanks. I heard him describe both, in two different interviews. He was probably nervous for one, (I don't think he's been on camera much in his life) and he didn't appear to be that close in proximity to them.I assume she had a hat on, but may or may not have had a ponytail, and her hair was not noticeably long. Either way, we can say it seems like it was Erin, but I guess there is always a chance it wasn't. I think the witness is doing his best.

My opinion is so close to what you have stated here, but I think there is only one person involved, not two. Also, even though having an affair doesn't make you less a victim, it DOES make you more prone to become a victim. How many times have we seen people doing what they shouldn't be doing and end up disappearing. Countless stories of this happening! People have to STOP with the cheating. It's disgraceful and an awful awful thing to do. And a lot of it does happen on military bases when spouses are away. I know, because I worked on the 29 Palms Marine Corps base and wives were admitting to it. It's never right and so many times, something terrible happens because of it. Many missing persons cases are because people are doing what they aren't supposed to. Just my two cents. It doesn't at all excuse the perpetrator and justice must be served! It just means that people have to start making the right choices in life for this to stop.

Totally agree with you. I'm a Nurse for the military/Camp Lejeune and sadly this goes on way to much. I agree. Do the right things, nothing to worry about. When you tread down that wrong path, not saying you are asking for trouble because no one deserves to be harmed or anything but when you take the path of cheating and so forth, you are certainly inviting it to come your way in one form or another and we all know that nothing good ever comes out of cheating.

Right that part is true but if he didn't show up Monday for formation and such, he is considered U/A. At least here all the battalions have formations. If you are not at formation on time, you are U/A. He can't just be gone several days and not show up without being U/A. He would have to be on Leave. He very well could have taken leave and they would never know if he was involved in this or not. My husband is currently deployed but if one of his Marines doesn't show up for a formation, they count them as U/A until they are found. You can't just not show up to work so long as you stay within a certain radius. You must show up or you are U/A. Weekend is one thing but he would have had to report to work on Monday morning or be counted as U/A.

I saw the interview. I felt bad for him. He could barely get a word in edgewise thanks to that annoying reporter. She kept yelling over him and talking so loud. I can't watch her ever. She's downright annoying!

She was wearing sunglasses, had something small-ish in her hands (not an overnight bag), darkish baseball type cap that wasn't a bright color, shorter hair but long enough to be pulled back through the hole in the back of the cap, light colored hair. You have to watch all of the interviews to get all of the information.

I think the most interesting thing he said, aside from the red car, was about his sister seeing the same car in that location on another occasion.

He said she had a little pony tail that came out of the back of her cap. He took off his cap and pointed to the back of it where the hole is. He also said she was wearing glasses but didn't specify which kind, prescription or sunglasses. I think a lot of us assumed he meant sunglasses but I never heard him say what kind.

If a person works an evening shift , do they still have to report to morning formation ? My husband was in the AF and worked a lot of evening shifts on the flight line. For all we know, whoever did this was in formation Monday morning...
