In response to the comment made about NL's pin in regards to dumping a body overboard into the water. Actually that pin has been floating around Facebook for a long time so I would not put too much credence in the fact that is posted on NL's Pinterest.

In response to the comment about another posters feelings after reviewing NL's pins about how the pins show her personality, humor and so forth......I agree.

It would be really, really coincidental that NL was yelling at CL about an alibi and talking about the body never bring found. I believe that LE has at least some evidence of the murder that ties it to the Lees.

Plus I believe JC was on duty Sat, and the Corwins have only one car so that coverup would involve a lot of people.

Has it been confirmed that JC was working Sat? I know a lot of people assume he was on duty, but I don't remember reading an actual report that said he was. I've heard just as many rumors that said he wasn't on duty. I think to know this information is very important. JMO.

In theory, and just my opinion, but if JC had something to do with Erin's disappearance- it would actually make more sense and it would be the "easiest" crime to put the puzzle pieces together. When you try to hammer CL and NL into the puzzle, it becomes a little more complicated and the story a little more bizarre. I am NOT saying CL and NL didn't do anything. I'm just saying to put those two together in this crime, it requires many bizarre elements to fall in place.

I can't help but think that if the affair was still going on- it's just as possible that EC and CL planned to take off together when CL was discharged? And maybe somebody found out.

I have a few nagging doubts. Maybe information will be released soon that will clear them up. I wish I was so convinced as everybody else on here.:scared:
For example: Why would CL ask people to go hunting with him if he had murder in mind? It's possible to me that somebody heard him say he was going there.
Why would EC tell her husband about the pregnancy on Father's Day if she suspected it was CL's? If she had an affair in Feb that he found out about- how does she get pregnant again, and he doesn't automatically think it's somebody elses? Did he "trust" his wife? Most men that have been cheated on would find it hard to trust their wife for awhile. Especially if the lover lived right by you.

In the reports that I've read- CL completely denies the affair and only says they've kissed once.

Don't get me wrong- there are plenty of things that make me side eye the heck out of CL.

The "may have left voluntarily" might just be an statement that Erin left of her own accord with CL as opposed to being taken by force. JMO

Speaking for me only being a military spouse whom has spent countless months and actually years alone with children during my spouses extended deployments. I was taught all aspects of gun usage, safety, etcetera and I was required to take the firearms exam that is mandatory within the state that I reside in. I became certified by the state and I visit the shooting range several times a year. So yes I do not think it is too far-fetched either to think that two woman can go out shooting together. Actually there are classes geared specifically for women. At least I know in our state they hold these self-defense classes all the time then all the ladies meet x amount of times per year to shoot and practice together. As for the excuse of celebrating by going out shooting, I have no opinion on that at all.

I just don't believe any woman would be hanging out with the woman their husband cheated on them with

In response to the comment of NL and CL being arrested by Friday.....I do not see that happening by Friday unless some damning evidence is discovered between now and then that they were involved in her disappearance. One can speculate all they desire but the bottom line is unless there is evidence to prove this was the case that is not going to happen at least at this time.

Also just a side note....As much as some might think that time is of the essence and it is the enemy actually sometimes the opposite holds true. Time can be a friend that so gently unveils and exposes the truth. Just my two cents worth and food for thought. Digest what you wish and leave the rest behind.

Hey ladylems don't take this the wrong way but it might be useful to quote who you're replying to because your posts which would make perfect sense can be a bit confusing for a Dumbo like me :)

Okay I apologize I did go back and edit my comments to include what I was responding to, because I do not see any method of deleting the post. Once again I apologize.

Yep hit reply with quote. There's no correct way to do it but it just makes it easier to follow. Sometimes I think I'm replying to the person above so I don't quote but by the time I'm finished typing ten other people have posted and I'm thinking oops. There's an edit button too.which is useful for me because I can't spell lol.

You can click "Reply with Quote" if you only want to reply to ONE comment.

You can put a checkmark in the button beside Reply with Quote (It's the icon that shows " and a + sign) Just checkmark and continue to read (if you put your mouse pointer over the icon it will come up and say Multi quote this message.) You can keep that going from page to page- checkmarking what post you want to reply to- and when you get ready- scroll down and look to the left for "+ Reply to thread" Presto....it will put all the comments you checkmarked on there. Websleuths may have a limit on the number of comments you can multi quote, though.

I haven't found any good reason to use just the Reply button.

I cant speak for anyone else but to me it gets very complex for JC to be involved.

As far as we know the Corwins only have one vehicle. Imo, there is base footage at the gate showing Erin was alone when she left the base.

So that would mean somehow that JC would have to borrow a vehicle from someone. Also no one has mentioned seeing JC that day off base. If a person did let him borrow his vehicle they are not going to go down for Jon. They wouldn't want to be charged as an accessory so they of course would tell LE that they provided him with a vehicle. The vehicle and Jon would also be on footage leaving the base.

I believe the base footage shows Jon never leaving the base that day. I have never picked up any suspicion that LE suspects her husband. I think he told them he never left the base that day and they have been able to verify that.

They seemed to be very honed in on the Lees very early on. Searching their vehicle, searching their base apartment, and then going out and serving a warrant at the horse ranch. Even though they were neighbors it is highly unusual that a SW is done of a neighbor's vehicle and dwelling. They had to have probable cause to do these things and not just because they lived by the Corwins.

Then I take into consideration everything in the affidavit told by the ranch owner who gave a statement to LE about what NL said. None of NL words make her look like an innocent person. It makes her look like she has personal knowledge of not only what happened to Erin but where her remains are.

Yes, I would think Jon really had to love Erin a lot to forgive her for the affair. It shows me he is a much more peaceful guy willing to work things out with the wife he loves.

I really think this case is just like many other cases we have seen before and in several cases the murderer was in a branch of the military. They murdered the woman they were having an affair with when that woman became pregnant with their child. Most of these men were married just like CL and had children of their own.

Erin would have to tell Jon she was pregnant even if she knew the child wasn't his. She would probably begin to have morning sickness. If she thought she may have become pregnant all she had to do is make sure she had sex with her husband. Unfortunately, in the military, countless men have thought they were the father of the child their spouse carried even though it wasn't true. Men, Jon's age are very naïve about pregnancies anyway. They just believe what their wives tell them, imo.

Imo, Jon has become a victim too. He has to come to grips that the wife he loved is most likely deceased and murdered by the man she carried on the affair with. And he knows how people are gossiping on base about the affair his wife had.

But even though he has had this heavy burden to carry at such a young age... I think he would like nothing more than for them to find Erin alive.

I just don't believe in coincidences when it comes to criminal cases. Erin's best friend said Erin told her she was meeting with CL that day and Erin hasn't been heard from since.

Can someone explain to me, unless I missed it in the 10000 confusing stories in the media on this case that are available hourly, why NL has not been arrested and questioned for her statement? See link
http://www.latimes.com/local/lanow/la-me-ln-neighbor-marine-missing-wife-body-20140723-story.html
I read the probable cause statement where that Isabella woman said that NL made that comment of course she also said they were talking about other cases. Whatever! Aside from that can someone explain why the police have not taken NL into custody and ?? her. Thanks

1. Does anyone know what JC is doing now? Is he just sitting in his apartment, waiting for news? Working? 2. Also, if you assume for a moment that NL is as smart as she thinks she is, is there any reason she would purposely tell the horse rescue owner the things she did, and pretend to have the conflict with CL, just for show?

I would assume that JC is back at work. I can't imagine keeping him in his house this long and considering the turn of events. As for NL. I find it funny she called out CL for being too dumb to keep his lies straight. She does not appear to be the sharpest tool in the shed herself.
