No, not confirmed. It was told to me on FB in response to a question I asked by a report with the Desert Sun, I believe but yet again everyone's opinion is different too. I think I had asked a question to the media if any of them could maybe re-interview these two witnesses showing them a pic of NL and see if they could point out who they saw. Thanks for those videos, going to go rereview them myself!
Hi roadrunnermt
I have never seen any article saying these siblings were not credible. I have seen where people have left comments on FB and other social media outlets that are saying that. e.g., (scrolling down to the comments people write after reading articles)
After watching these video's, I find them credible myself. Those desert roads are very desolate, and I think it would be very easy to notice those cars where they were parked, if you were driving down that road. My opinion only.

BBM~
I don't think the witness' were seeking publicity at all. My thought is after they came forward with what they had seen, the media contacted/chased/hounded THEM like a pack of wolves ~ All for the sake of a first hand story. Notice that the reporter is the one that uses the the word "rendezvous," and then twists the whole story with the title
"Witness says missing Marine wife had rendezvous with man in red car." MOO~
