GUILTY CA - Fabio Sementilli, 49, renowned hairdresser, murdered in LA, 23 Jan 2017 *Arrests, 1 guilty*

Odd that Monica seemed to put her hands on herself and kept them there while Baker is testifying. I don't remember her doing that yesterday.

That’s pheromones! lol

Ewww eww ew, when he says he wanted to please her and keep things interesting. Yuck!

I don’t see how anyone could think this guy is telling the truth.

That darn Viber app .. it's "glitchy" and then it got "glitchy-er" 😂 Had to start using What's App after the murder because it wasn't as glitchy. This guy is digging his hole deeper.

I don't know why the defense thought it was a bright idea to let him testify .. but I'm glad they did.

Can anyone explain all these questions from the Prosecutor pertaining to Al Birdsong .. where is that info coming from? I don't remember him testifying but I may have missed it. Or is the info coming from them having interviewed AB at some point?

“My family comes first,” Fabio Sementilli began in a 2015 interview with American Salon. “You sit in the backyard and I say to myself, ‘What do I want to be remembered for?’ ... I want to be remembered for the relationships I’ve built.”

Thanks for posting, what a lovely, kind man who worked so hard to care for his family only to be taken away from this earth by his evil ungrateful wife and her perverted evil lover.

Remember he said that he is a ‘smart guy’! He is anything but. If he was so smart he would have thought of a better explanation than glitchy. I don’t think he anticipated what cross would be like.

You are right, she is a wrecking ball! I think she has done well so far.

Birdsong escapes me at the moment but I will refresh my memory when I have a chance.

Can’t wait for more on Monday!

No adult has resting expressions like this. It is hilarious and I hope the jury is paying attention to her.

He has this weird thing he does with his eyes and tilting his head down.

The body language expert had alot to say about him. IMG_7087.webpIMG_7086.webpIMG_7085.webp

I've rolled my eyes so many times during this trial watching her expressions and the lip pouting/quivering bottom lip. IMO she looks like someone attempting to fake emotions, but as a likely sociopath, she probably doesn't know how to genuinely express them.

In 1993, he was convicted of statutory rape with his 14-year-old teenage stepdaughter, whom he would later marry after his release from prison, according to CBS.

Baker later entered the p o r n 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 world, starring in nearly 80 adult movies during the span of his career in the late 1990s.

That yahoo link doesn’t work

Has anybody noticed any actual tears fall from the defendants eyes during this entire trial? Or does she let her quivery/pouty lips do all the talking for her? I wonder who she has been looking back at during Baker’s testimony.

It did, but as you can see the WS software censored the title. It doesn't like the the word p o r n. You can find it by putting the below title in your browser search for the yahoo article.

A celebrity hairstylist, his wife, her p orn star lover – and an alleged $1.6m life insurance ‘plot’ that led to murder OR THIS WORKS

This is a newer article.

Thanks for that link @Curious Me. How awful to be spied upon by a person you have loved and trusted for years. Looks obvious to me she’s toast. She knew. She knew.

Lot in there I hadn’t heard, such as …

[…]

While walking the aisles of Target, the wife was watching everything unfold on her mobile phone, police said.

[…]

She should screenshot her facial expressions and sell them for a comic book. I haven’t seen any defendant fake emotional expressions like this before.

Does she think that no one knows what she is doing? It points to her I-q and her manipulative ways.

All of that foolishness and zero tears. An oxymoron.

The only 2 days that she has worn makeup is when Baker was there.

Does anyone know why Baker was allowed to see Austin’s transcript? Could that be a case for mistrial?
I wondered too why he could see anyone else’s transcript. I certainly think that would be an advantage to a co-conspirator witness. I wouldn’t have thought that a possibility; however, no one seemed to object.

It sure seemed like the prosecutor was interested in that info and when Baker said it was read to him .. she said ohhh, even better. I wouldn't think the prosecutor would want a mistrial at this stage .. but I don't know how that works. Let's hope not.

I've had to follow this trial piece meal. Did it make it into trial and presented to Jurors about her actions with LE revealing that Monica & Baker had been running their own nasty surveillance on Fabio's actions that day, and that she was watching what she knew was going down while at Target? So horrible. Something Jurors deserve to know.

I was so busy getting screenshots and making notes that I didn't catch what he said for sure. Didn't he also say he watched part of Austin's testimony from his prison? Either seems the wrong thing to allow, and would help him tailor his defense for Monica.

One of the panel on Court TV said an ulterior motive Baker could have is that if Monica was out of prison, she would be sure to fill his commissary and I don't know what other benefits that would provide him. I have no idea if that makes sense. Could she actually not be convicted and be released?

MOO, I think she's got to be looking quite guilty to Jurors. Plus, whoever coached her on those facial expressions, hair, and dress for trial steered her wrong, IMO. Her micro puss faces make her look grouchy, sour, spoiled, and unlikable. I haven't seen regret or grief. JMO, the spin they tried to put on it, and with Baker's testimony, nope, IMO, it isn't going to work.

As far as I’ve seen on the trial, I believe I’ve seen she “could” see on her phone whatever their surveillance system showed, but I don’t recall where the cameras were. I’m also fairly sure Baker testified he had watched parts of the trial, from afar, as eyesight and hearing are not good. If I were him, knowing I am up to testify for my woman, I’d move close to the tv and rush off to prison library to see what I could find out online, newspaper, etc. But who knows what Baker does. I wouldn’t even want to hazard a guess.

BBM - yes there was quite a lot of testimony from one of the Detectives about her accessing the home CCTV on her phone while at Target. I saw that as a nail in her coffin moment. So disgusting to think she was watching and waiting to see when they arrived and murdered Fabio and then she also waited long enough to make sure her daughter was the first one to arrive home and find her Dad.
