Hasanni Campbell's foster parents, Louis Ross and Jennifer Campbell, have been arrested and are being held on suspicion of murder in connection with the disappearance of the 5-year-old boy, authorities confirmed today.

Formal charges, however, have not been filed.

Both were brought to Oakland police headquarters for questioning Friday afternoon, authorities confirmed.

Plain clothes Oakland police officers searched the Fremont home again on Friday. Fremont police provided security during the search. They allowed cars to leave the subdivision but not enter.

Waiting for the press conference on CBS5...did they say what time it would be??

That's what I'm most interesting in is when will formal charges be filed? :behindbar

I'm glad it wasn't that front window with the loose screen on it!

Oh. I thought the loose screen was on the window merimer was talking about. Thanks for clearing it up for me.

Maybe I'm confused but I thought the loose screen was in the front of the house? :waitasec:

The helicopters are gone but there was still law enforcement activity and news vans at the house at 8:00. It was an unusually beautiful and moving sunset in his neighborhood tonight. I hope he is at peace.

Hmmm . . . about when were we discussing that? I could go back and try to find this, but I have no idea when that was.

I brought up the window screen out in the left window on the bottom right in the 1st or second thread...It caught my attention the first time I seen it...I would think if he did fall out of the window though JC would break down & tell LE that it was an accident. IMO I don't think the window screen is related...unless LR or JC pushed him through it if they were mad at him or something. Than that wouldn't be an accident at all...Plus I think the search dogs would have picked up on blood scent if he fell. It is possible that he could fall & have a brain injury & not bleed from a fall..

I hate typing that...either way whatever happened to Hasanni isn't going to be good. :(

Thank you for the latest update!

Prayers that Hasanni is found soon. :rose:

I just remember seeing the photo of it and it looked like the front. But I could be wrong since it's late and my brain is tired!

Bedtime now! :seeya:

Or LR might have pushed the screen out because he had a plan to blame an intruder and then thought better of it.

I can't even think about LR purposely inflicting pain or damage on Hasanni; that poor little guy! But with the anger level he displayed when the dog barked during that interview, it wouldn't be a surprise if he did.

Boy, I guess we really see things differently. I didn't think Louis displayed a high level of anger when the dog barked.

ecazippy - Thank you for your "feet on the ground" reporting. I am also in CA and our sunset was worthy of Hassani also...In fact, my son ran out to the front yard where me and DH were hanging and said - The whole house is pink inside!...God, you have another angel. Hope Hassini and Caylee are having fun!

Aw, little man Hasanni where are you. I sure hope LR and JC do some major talking now as our little man needs to be brought home. I am not surprised that both were arrested - they both stuck me as being very "shifty" on the whereabouts of little man.
Damm, they could have just fessed up that they couldn't/didn't want to look after him.

Whisper a little louder little man and you will be found - it is time to come home now.

I guess we do. He was speaking all soft and trying to be modulated, then the dog started barking and he changed from Dr. Jekyll into Mr. Hyde, IMO.

I am so lagging...Does anyone have a link to the vid with the dog situation? TIA

"It's like we had an argument and we worked through it. And now it's like the argument is being twisted and turned into something it isn't," said Campbell.

She was referring to the txt msg. Twisted and turned into something it isn't? There's no way to "twist and turn" the words LR used HIMSELF. HE said it! He threatened to leave Hasanni at the BART. He would watch Aaliyah, but didn't want Hasanni. We didn't "twist and turn" anything. It worries me JC can wave off such a horrible threat as a casual "argument they worked through". That just irks me!

"I know the truth," said Ross. "I am cooperating with police. so if false info is being leaked, I don't care. This isn't about me. It's about finding Hasanni.

As anyone who's seen their interviews knows, it IS about LR and NOT Hasanni. LR NEVER makes it about Hasanni.

WOW. Just got home and read page 1 and too tired to catch up today, but wow. Had been hanging out on the Haleigh rumor thread and someone made the comment earlier about clean your house, shave your legs, somethings about to happen (meaning on that thread) but I just knew something was up.

DANG THESE PEOPLE. Another angel gone at the hand of their (care)givers. They didn't give him much care apparently. Will catch up reading tomorrow. GEEZE. Off to watch something light--a lil Malcolm in the Middle. Robert and now Hasanni apparently in what, weeks??? It never freaking ends. I hope she spills first. I knew her tears sounded like Daija Weavers mom here in Dallas. DANG IT DANG IT DANG IT.

Here I am! Not much to report here but the presence of news vans again for the first time in several days, earlier this evening.

This article says LR waived his right to remain silent. Thank God. This guy is his own worst enemy.

Oh my goodness...he's gonna spill the beans! It was the right move to arrest them at different locations because they'll never know what the other said to LE.

This is the 1st thread I followed every day and I hope It's the last. The frustration, anger and worry really take it's toll when you get emotionally involved. You begin to feel that this is your child and the helplessness is overwhelming.
