Thank you kindly, SuziQ for the reassurance. I was imagining certain smug defense lawyers using the 'no body, no case' argument.

Finding a body is always the best route, unless DNA proves that death was the likely outcome. For instance, in some cases they've been able to forensically tell whether the person survived or not. For instance, in the Brooke Wilburger case, they were able to determine that in a van, traces of Brooke's brain matter and other things were found to prove she was no longer alive. The same type of thing could apply to this case.

Let's hope that LE has enough to turn up the heat so high that one of them tells where Hasanni is located.

I hope that where Hasanni is located comes to light during those grueling interviews.

I saw this report earlier but I have had my eye on another missing child case that is hopefully heating up. I have been thinking of Hasanni though, and it isn't a surprise but it's always a disappointment when Parents who are supposed to love and cherish a child~ murder them.

OT~ I'm not giving Foster Mom any slack, until LE comes right out and says she didn't murder Hasanni. After that she won't get any slack from me either because she knew, and she has let that baby lay out there somewhere, exposed to the elements. He's still out there. Shame on both of them.

"The sword is something I keep underneath my bed." Ross told NBC Bay Area earlier. "The sword was initially put in the closet, to be honest. But we had some incidents, a couple of incidents where somebody was setting off our alarm while it was in our garage."

Investigators gave Ross a polygraph test but he failed it. He says the test was fraudulent.

Ross initially responded to the polygraph result by calling them a fraud.

"They gave me five questions. Three were controls. The controls was: Is my name Loius Ross? Am I 38-years-old? Do I live in Fremont? Then they asked two other questions around the case. They showed me results that said I was 99 percent deceptive." Ross detailed. "So he told me I didn't even get my name right."

OAKLAND: UPDATE: HASANNI CAMPBELL BELIEVED TO BE DEAD, FOSTER PARENTS ARRESTED
Fri, 28 Aug 2009 20:58E-mail | Print
<snipped>
The foster parents of Hasanni Campbell, a 5-year-old boy with cerebral palsy who was last seen Aug. 10, were arrested on suspicion of murder today, Oakland police Officer Jeff Thomason said.

"Right now, in this investigation, it's not a missing persons case anymore,'' Thomason said. "It is a homicide investigation.''

Jennifer Campbell, Hasanni's aunt and foster mother, was arrested on suspicion of murder at about 1:50 p.m. at the Union City BART station, Thomason said. At about 2:45 p.m., Louis Ross was arrested on the same charge at his Fremont home.

"We believe Hasanni Campbell is no longer alive and we have the people responsible,'' Thomason said.

Hasanni was last seen Aug. 10 in the Shuz of Rockridge shoe store in the 6000 block of College Avenue and his disappearance prompted a multi-agency investigation. On Aug. 20, police served multiple search warrants in connection with the case, including one at Ross' home.

As authorities investigated the disappearance, community members came together to spread awareness about the case and held a vigil earlier this week in the parking lot from where Hasanni went missing.

Thomason said investigators have not located Hasanni's body and declined to comment on specific evidence in the case that led to today's arrests.

"This investigation is still ongoing and very complex,'' Thomason said.

He said Ross and Jennifer Campbell were being interviewed by detectives this evening.

Listened to the vid earlier for the first time (actually first of any of his vids)...He sounds Jamiciain or Haitian. Has anyone checked there?

when LR is speaking of LDT, and his 99% deceptive issue, Please note his next line, "So he told me I didn't even get my name right." You know, LR some of us here at WS have also felt that you may not have your name right .... I for one can not wait to hear the DEVIL in YOUR DETAILS :behindbar

Ross, who used to live in Maryland, had a restraining order filed against him there in 2005. He also has had a number of judgments for unpaid state taxes there, including a number of income tax liens totaling thousands of dollars.

Excellent sleuthin all!

You all hunted this info down already!!

Plainclothes Oakland police officers again searched the couple's home Friday, starting about 2:30 p.m. and continuing into the night. Officers could be seen searching a bedroom above the garage, going through clothes and papers, and flipping the mattress. Between 7:30 and 7:45 p.m., police officers removed a gray computer CPU tower and screen from the house. Two dogs, one large and tan-colored and the other black and white, were removed from the home and loaded into Fremont city vehicles.

They took the screen that I posted about in thread 1!!

So LE comes into work in the morning and the first thing they do is check WS to see what to do? lol.

Seriously, I am saddened that it's a homicide case. I really, really, really wanted a tiny glimmer of hope that Hasanni could be found alive. Crap!!!

Ha! I swear he was reading here because a couple of us posted that if he got that percentage he had to have gotten his name wrong too! I'm pretty sure that the only thing he didn't lie about was his home address.

Well as for the name, I wonder if the 3 behind it is a lie
