Police In Standoff With Panorama City Stabbing Suspect Following Wild Pursuit
GLENDALE (CBSLA.com) — The LAPD is involved in a standoff with a suspect they said stabbed three people, two adults and one child, in Panorama City.
The chase started around 3:30 p.m. Sunday and led police through hilly areas of Glendale, The pursuit ended near Chevy Chase Country Club. after the suspect overturned his vehicle making a wide turn.
The stabbing unfolded just after 1 p.m. Sunday in the 8800 block of Tobias Avenue.

PANORAMA CITY, LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A mother, 3-year-old and 3-month-old baby were stabbed in Panorama City on Sunday and their attacker was on the loose, according to police.
The incident was reported at about 1:09 p.m. at an apartment building in the 8800 block of Tobias Avenue, prompting a response from police and firefighter-paramedics.
Los Angeles police said the woman, who was stabbed in the back multiple times, and her 3-year-old were undergoing surgery, and the infant suffered a stab wound to the leg. Police did not disclose what injuries the toddler suffered.
Neighbors said the woman's ex-boyfriend, who is also the father of her daughter, was arguing with her before the stabbing occurred.
