Was there any more specific of location information than L.A County ravine/Granada Hills? Because I lived there at the time and heard nothing about it.

The address given in the article @digitective posted maps to this location: Google Maps

The article I posted was about other Granada Hills case, not this Jane Doe. I just posted it because I’m wondering if maybe the same killer did both.

Ooops my bad.

eta: Or maybe not. #UP8868 corresponds to Doenetwork case 1499UFCA, which includes the Braemore Road address.

"Children discovered the partial skeleton of a young female at the base of a ravine at the base of a cliff at the 18900 block of Braemore Road in Granada Hills, California. A fire had passed through the area in September 1970; heavy rains and an earthquake following the fire and may have moved the ramains."

I've tried to submit her. She doesn't have dental records available. I suppose if there's a photo of her smiling, a forensic dentist type could compare them, but I have no clue if such photos exist.
There is a photo of her smiling as bride on Charley Project

Was this body ever identified?

I still think this is probably Dixie Arensen. I wonder if this doe had any distinctive dental work that her relatives might recognize.

Does anyone know if the female found in the ravine in Sept 1970 was ever identified.?

Did the police save anything from the body of a Jane Doe, before DNA existed?

Dixie Arensen seems like the most obvious candidate here considering she disappeared from Granada Hills in 1968
Dixie has no dental records per family member

Wish I knew if Dixie had had her wisdom teeth extracted but no one knows.

The Manson family was squatting just 7 miles away, from spring 68 through 70. They have been responsible for dozens of murders that we know about, plus dozens they are possibly responsible for.

They are known to have thrown women into wooded areas, like Laurel Canyon and Santa Susanna Pass.

Arensen was last seen on August 25, 1968 at Hillcrest Christian Church in Granada Hills, Los Angeles, CA.
She was last seen by her husband when she left home at 07:30 to prepare a church bulletin at the church office, 17531 Rinaldi Street.
He keys and her glasses, without which she could not see well, were found in the office by her husband who arrived at the church around 09:15, the morning of her disappearance. Her blue automobile was parked outside.
Two unusual things were immediately noticed by police. Her glasses were on the floor of the small office, and an electric typewriter with which she prepared the bulletin was still running.
Her purse was missing but a check showed no withdrawals from her personal checking account.

I hope for her sake that they can find some way to confirm her identity.
