I’m back to considering what I first thought about this, statistically…..
JMO
Yes, yesterday it occurred to me that all of the mystery is just a distraction.

Wow JW applied for full custody on October 26!!!
And he kept her phone and laptop for 10 days. I know it’s weird but I still think there are 2 phones haha.

JW requested full custody 2 days after filing the missing person report and a judge granted him full custody! Wow. MOO
That’s surprising, isn’t it? I wonder if it’s temporary, surely. MOO

She was walking with Seven in ally behind building, according to that link.
Ex JW granted full sole custody.
Information Continues to Develop in Heidi Planck Missing Persons Case
IMO that means HP was most likely inside the building on the 17th, not *necessarily* on the 28th floor (if already inside the building I'm sure it wouldn't be that much of a challenge to dump the dog out on a floor someone else got on or off the elevator at)...
As we know, she got picked up from there in 2020 sometime..

I'd be curious to see HP's body language in the cctv from behind the building. Does she look concerned, erratic, etc like JW said she looked at the game?
CBSN said she was walking the dog, but I wonder if that means walking with the dog, or taking the dog outside for a walk...

Trying to wrap my head around his thought process!! What a strange thing to do when you should be focused only on finding your child’s mother.

Usually in the buildings in downtown LA they have special dog run/turf areas for the residents of the building. They aren’t usually in the alley. I’m not sure about this building specifically.

And was she arriving, walking toward or away from the entrance. MOO

JW and the phones are going to make me lose sleep. 10 days, sir?
[side note CBSN said he removed the phone and work laptop from the house on the 20th which, if true, is a direct contradiction from D getting the phone for him D: sos]

Good points.
Maybe she had noticed or been told that the dog caregivers had a dog and would probably take care of him?
There is a dog run in the building- so pet owners would be easily identifiable.
I had a feeling all along she released him.
Poor little boy. MOO

Also more importantly the connection to the building “Hope Flower” and Heidi. Once her friend said the dog was lost there again in 2020 a bell went off. It was built by the Omni Group big real estate development company.

https://urbanize.city/la/post/south-parks-hope-flower-development-nears-its-peak/amp

I am wondering if Camden Capital Partners had ANY equity in this company? They do invest in real estate as per their website. Perhaps that’s a connection …

I will dig to see if l can find this out …
The dog was never lost in the area of Hope+Flower. Her friend stated that she had picked Heidi up once in 2020 from Hope+Flower. No other details were given.

Seriously what would be the urgency in doing that so soon? Have they solved the case and told him she's not coming back? Did she leave voluntarily to avoid jail time? Looking side eye at JW. MOO

I hear you. I’m pretty sure the hemming and hawing will lead to another phone being identified.

Kinda puts another spin on the garbled messaging, in my mind.
