CA interview tidbits

Not to mention that it gave her an opportunity to hear what might be told to LE before LE could even get to the people ask the questions. Sounds more like a fishing expedition by CA to me.

After those meetings she had a good idea what she and Casey would need to say or do to cover for what these people would say in their interviews with LE.

Also I would imagine that most people (I) would be so devastated that they would almost not be able to function at all but these people were playing sleuth from the first day. Who does that honestly? You leave that to the police especially in the early days unless you need to know what LE may know.

this is one of the first cases that I've heard where EVERYONE is doing their own "investigation"---It still amazes me how everyone hates LE yet---all seem to want to play that part....

5.) CA was leading LE to Ricardo, Amy, Tony and JG. She stated that Tony and Ricardo go "way back", "Amy is part of them" and they do drugs. She believes that Amy or Ricardo could be "Zanny" and "remember that apartment complex that KC took you to on Day 1, Amy and Ricardo live there!"

CA stated that JG's gf before he dated KC was a nanny - Melina - and that KC said that even though she and JG broke up and JG was back with his ex., the woman might be available to babysit Caylee. She stated that Jeff Hopkins, the one from Jacksonville, was dating a Zanny.

All of this information had to come from KC. Why was CA not on the phone to LE ASAP?

Amy and Ricardo did NOT live at the Sawgrass apartments.

The Jeff Hopkins who lives in Jacksonville went to school with Casey and never knew a Zanny and has no children. So, of course, the Athony's say that is the WRONG Jeff Hopkins.

Cindy has it in really bad for JG. Probably becasue JG stood up to her. He took and passed a polygraph very early on in the investigation. I think Cindy thinks if she can implicate JG, the heat will be off Casey. Melina doesn't sound anything like Zanny.

I think she is trying to implicate Amy to keep Amy from following up on all the theft that Casey called.

Who does that? The same people who:

*Retrieve a car from impound that's supposed to be with their daughter which is reeking of decomp and one person goes off to work and the other starts washing pants discovered inside the car

*Do not call 911 from the tow yard when smelling that stink

*Tell 911 operator (on a third call hours later) that the car smells like a dead body but then later tells reporters that it was just the smell of a rotten "bag of pizza"

*Tells reporters that there was "no odor" in the car before it went to impound and then speculate that perhaps someone put a body in the car *at* the towyard!

*Tell reporters that said odor was perhaps a dead squirrel

*Tell Greta Van Susteren one story about the infamous gas cans and LE quite a different version

*Tell reporters (once the shed break in hit the news) that they knew who took the gas cans and imply a neighbor brought the cans back!

*Repeatedly tell reporters they know who has Caylee and that said individuals are "being watched"

*Admit to LE that LE can search the backyard because it had already been searched, playhouse moved, bush moved, etc.

*and so on...

Such great points! I think LA deleted everything in that 2 hour window he was at TL's apt. He should be held on obstruction charges just for that! And isnt there a way to get into the laptops harddrives and restore that info???

Oh and Caylee's baby doll, backpack, car seat, some hair things and some diapers were in the car when it was retrieved.

BTW. The notice was posted on the front door on the 11th. They noticed it on the 13th but neither of them could go to the post office on the 14th to pick it up so they waited until the 15th.

GA wakes up by 8am everyday and doesn't go to work until 3pm. He couldn't make it to the post office before work?

Is it possible that GA checked out the car location on the 14th? They both talk about how the lot is not secure when they try to explain that it was some stranger's body in the trunk and how anyone could have gotten into the lot and the trunk. Did GA make a little visit to the car when he got off work the night of the 14th?

Why would GA tell the tow yard man all about the missing, but now found, KC and the still missing GD? He tells the tow yard man, but not someone like LE who could help. Then he drives the stinking car home and goes to work. Did he have to shower? Change clothes?

The tow yard lot has a very tall chain link fence with barbed wire on top of it. How does that make it insecure? It's a lot more secure than in the Anthony's driveway. Tow lots are usually fenced securely and also have guard dogs. There is usually someone there 24 hours a day as towing occurs 24 hours a day. There's a great shot of the tow yard on one of the videos and it looks VERY secure to me.

We have to remember, Cindy just might get in a boat load of trouble come trial time - LE has everything noted - not giving reciepts, changing stories, talking to potential witnesses, etc. The judge can have her held on purjery, so watching the trial will be very important, we might see another arrest

3. CA revealed to LE that the real father of Caylee was someone named Eric. Eric "knew right away" about Caylee, had conversations with KC about Caylee and even wanted his new family to meet Caylee and KC. CA saw the obit, but can not remember the last name of Eric, he was a school friend of KC's who moved to Jacksonville or Gainesville. She paid no attention to the name or the person because she and GA had already taken care of things with the lawyer, establishing that no one had any claims to Caylee, so if anything happened to KC, Caylee was hers. She seemed relieved with the news of his death which was around Caylee's birthday or KC's birthday in 2006. Eric's widow informed KC of his death and the 2 have spoken on the phone.

Question:

Eric "knew right away", seems to have been interested in knowing Caylee so why has it been said that he wanted nothing to do with the baby?

She also said she thinks JG is the father.

Re Chris S: Has he admitted bringing those clothes to CA? Where/when did they come into his possession?

A link would be great if you know one.

TIA

Mods, if this is not appropriate for a whole new thread, please close it or move it.

The sound on my pc is not working, but I finally got a chance to listen to 3 of 4 CA interview tapes last night. Notably, the KC interviews are no longer available. If anyone has a different link than the one provided in the sticky, I would appreciate your posting it here.

From CA's interviews I found some interesting points which I will break up into a few posts because I am long winded today.

1. CA stated that KC's friends came to the house on 2 occassions to discuss what they knew about KC and Caylee's whereabouts during the 31 days. The first occassion was the night of the first vigil. The second was a weel or so later. On one of those occassions, one of the young men brought a bag with Caylee's scuba-style swim suit (it has a life-vest sewn in), some swimmers, hair things, etc. She said she thought his name was Chris, couldn't be sure - but LE could find out from Annie.

The interview was on August 4 and CA had not yet mentioned this to LE.

Patiently, LE tried to impress upon her the importance of them knowing that someone had a bag of Caylee's things as it could help establish where Caylee was, with whom and when. When she was gently confronted about not mentioning this to LE, since her GD was missing, she turned it around on LE and stuck her foot in her mouth at the same time. She stated "well, he has been trying to call you and has left messages and no one returned his calls'. LE said, "he never called me, I promise you." CA responded "he said he called you."

Questions:

Why did she not report the fact that she had these get togethers and maybe invite LE to attend?

Why did she not mention that someone had a bag of Caylee's swim apparel so LE could question this person about how and when he obtained these items?

How can she not know the identity of the person when she has heard from him since that meeting?

Lol DotsEyes! You're on a roll! I have so many of the same questions as you but this one, about Caylee's swimming things takes the cake for me! There's a major investigation going on, her grand-daughter is missing, someone shows up with a bag full of her things and she's not sure she remembers who??? AND she totally forgets to mention it to LE until August 4th??? What is wrong with these people? That really is the right question Dots!

I'll be keeping my fingers crossed ..
Maybe LE will toss her in the cell next to Casey's ..

Nothing is ever destroyed on computers. He can try all he wants, but unless it is written over they retrieved every word. That was obvious from some of the information they posted in the releases.

Anybody know?
When they pull out deleted entries, via computer forensics, are they able to assign a time of deletion?

I am just wondering.

Thanks.:)

According to what TonyL posted on Scared Monkeys, the computer already had the blue screen when Lee arrived at the apartment to collect Casey's belongings.

George said in his LE interview that it was about 1 or 2 in the morning when Lee headed over to Tony's apartment. Does anyone recall where we got the information that he went much earlier than that?

Thanks, found it. Lee says he left at around midnight and got back at 2:25. He was surprised to realize he'd been gone for 2 hours.

Yes, it is all there because they are coded by the computer date/clock. TechnicalConfusion on here can most likely tell us all the details of how it works.

You would think that Cindy A. would pay more attention to Caylee's swimsuit being returned since I guess she would have had it at the beach when she was with the nanny, and it would certainly have been of interest to find out how Chris ended up with it. How many swimsuits did Caylee have ... my daughter has 3 ... but someone living in FL would probably have more.

Thank you for some excellent posts DotsEyes.

I used to do computer forensics - yes you can see deletion date - you can see where the link clicked on came from - so for instance you go to Yahoo and put in 'how to make chloroform' and lets say 5000 links come up - you click on the first one - and then the second one and so on - then you go in and clear history - and most people don't know to clear cookies but lets say you do

I could go into the memory and pull all this info - and tell the investigators when the sites were looked at, where they came from (search engine, direct input, etc.), what pages were looked at and for how long you looked at them

Thanks.:)[/QUOTE]
