CA interview tidbits

If LE's computer gurus can prove that computer drive was erased during the hours when LA was at Tony's that first night, then I want LA arrested immediately! The data that was erased would undoubtedly have been vitally revealing to LE and everyone else. Otherwise it wouldn't have been erased.

Grrrr.

According to Tony's posts on SM, the computer had the blue screen when Lee arrived to pick up Casey's belongings. Casey had been using it when Cindy showed up. That indicates to me that it was Casey who was madly deleting things. She must have deleted something that kept the computer from restarting once it was shut down.

I used to do computer forensics - yes you can see deletion date - you can see where the link clicked on came from - so for instance you go to Yahoo and put in 'how to make chloroform' and lets say 5000 links come up - you click on the first one - and then the second one and so on - then you go in and clear history - and most people don't know to clear cookies but lets say you do

I could go into the memory and pull all this info - and tell the investigators when the sites were looked at, where they came from (search engine, direct input, etc.), what pages were looked at and for how long you looked at them

Thanks.:)

Thanks trac! I appreciate this info.

Why hasn't CA made the connection between Zanny's taking Caylee on June 16th and then Zanny having an accident in Tampa on June 27th, 28th and 30th? They were all hanging out together in Jacksonville with Hopkins, including Zanny, on June 27th-30th.

CA, in telling the story and making sure the Officer gets it right, never once says anything about how it makes no sense that KC is hanging out with the women that kidnapped her daughter 10 days earlier.

In "The Bad Seed" the little girl wasn't adopted, the mother was adopted - she was the daughter of a "sociopath". It has to be one of the most hammily acted movies of all time.

More about Purses, Nannies and Driving into some lake...??

Anthony: Well, let me tell you why I say that. It's because they told us there was one person in central Florida with that name. In fact, there's nine in central Florida. I just got a phone call on my way here that there's four in Fort Lauderdale and my daughter said that this girl had a Fort Lauderdale number and has connections in Fort Lauderdale and New York and New Jersey. In every state, there's people by this name.

They think she's smart enough to make up this person for the last two and a half years, but dumb enough to park a car where in plain sight that her mother would drive by twice a day and see and leave her purse in the front seat of the car and not drive it into some lake.

So, my daughter is not a murderer. My granddaughter is missing.

http://wdbo.com/news/08_0801_caylee_cindyonlarrykinglive.html

So, according to Cindy, it would have been "smarter" for Casey to drive her car into a lake? That's what Susan Smith did.

Cindy said there are nien AGs in Central Florida? How many are the right age? How many are in Orlando? I just can't see Casey driving to Ft Lauderdale for a sitter when Casey lived in Orlando and worked in Orlando. Police interviewed the only ZG in the area but that's not good enough for Cindy. She thinks they need to interview the ones in Argentina too. Oh, wait, was that Peru? or one of those Spanish speaking countries.

A purse on the front seat of a car seems like an outright invitation. I really think Casey hoped the car would be stolen and everything could be blamed on a carjacker-- most likely Zanny. This way she could stick to her story that "Zanny" or a cohort kidnapped Caylee and stole the car--warning her not to speak to authorities or she/they would kill Caylee. (similar to Susan Smith's story)The car seat/the doll/the purse and the odor of decomposition could all be explained away if only someone had stolen the car as planned.

JMO of course.
i think that was Casey's hope, too. It would have made her life so much easier - no guilt adn she could get all that sympathy.

I know, right? Honestly, when CA tells LE that they can look into the hospital records I wanted to throw something!

Congratulations....that's the first post on this thread to make any good sense.

I think it points to the fact that Cindy is so overwhelmed by this tragedy that has befallen them that she doesn't even recognize the nonsense that has been spewed forth by her daughter. She is desperately grasping at any straw that presents itself....she isn't so intent on protecting Casey as she is on convincing herself that Caylee is still alive somewhere. She positively cannot bear to accept her grandchild is gone forever.

You're right! It's been a long time since I've seen that movie. It was hammy-but I think that was done on purpose. I remember the mother being so overcome with guilt she tries to off herself and the little girl but fails. Never an answer to anything-but shows how tragically mental illness affects not just the person afflicted but all who are part of their world.

There's the spirit of cooperation and support. I think there are some excellent points made on this thread, many of which I had never really considered.

Personally I don't think that's what it says about Cindy at all, but you should feel free.

Adopted by the investigating officer. I love that movie!!!

Anybody know?
When they pull out deleted entries, via computer forensics, are they able to assign a time of deletion?

I am just wondering.

Thanks.:)

If you give me your deleted hard drive I can recover nearly every file on it. Unless it had blank files rewritten over it. Those files are still there when you delete them. The only thing your computer does when you delete a file is mark that space available for more info. If nothing overwrites that space the files are still there.

Adopted by the investigating officer. I love that movie!!!

A better acted example was a semi remake in the 90's called, "The Good Son".

I'll find it, thanks much.

Love your avitar btw. When The Bad Seed was released in 1956, it was a psychological "chiller" that had as wild an impact on audiences as Hitchcock's Psycho.

In 1956, most Americans regarded Psychology and Psychiatry as utter nonsense or, at best, an unreliable, dubious "science." So, when The Bad Seed suggested that two wonderful parents could produce a sweet, pigtailed, homicidal eight-year-old with perfect manners but no conscience , the entire premise seemed more like fictional melodrama than psychological science at first...

But soon after seeing it, people began to remember children they'd known who'd behaved in very strange, inexplicable, and frightening ways.

I was only a child when I saw the Bad Seed at the movies with my parents, but it shook me up a little, and the grown-ups way more. My parents and their friends talked about it long afterward.

Are you a fan of it too?

Hope this wasn't too off-topic.

You're misremembering the movie, Friday. The little girl was adopted and the daughter of a killer. The "bad seed" is the bad genetics of the child and not psychology.

In fact, as I recall, there is a scene with a writer talking about some people being just innately bad.

I'm sorry - catching up on other posts here and it was the mother, not the little girl, who was adopted. At any rate the point of the movie was that the girl had inherited the bad seed genes and not psychology.

Anyone have any guesses on what Cindy's first public statement will be when they announce that Caylee's remains have been found?

3. CA revealed to LE that the real father of Caylee was someone named Eric. Eric "knew right away" about Caylee, had conversations with KC about Caylee and even wanted his new family to meet Caylee and KC. CA saw the obit, but can not remember the last name of Eric, he was a school friend of KC's who moved to Jacksonville or Gainesville. She paid no attention to the name or the person because she and GA had already taken care of things with the lawyer, establishing that no one had any claims to Caylee, so if anything happened to KC, Caylee was hers. She seemed relieved with the news of his death which was around Caylee's birthday or KC's birthday in 2006. Eric's widow informed KC of his death and the 2 have spoken on the phone.

Question:

Eric "knew right away", seems to have been interested in knowing Caylee so why has it been said that he wanted nothing to do with the baby?
i dont believe a word she says. if they truly knew who the father was, how could she NOT remember his last name? even if it is true that he died...would his parents not want to see their grandaughter??? would caylee not one day want to know about him?

bs...all of it...bs

Weird! I never ever thought about that. Good observation!---So strange...

That "DNA doesn't prove anything"? or that "We put Caylee in a coffin"

"DNA isn't reliable."

OMG. She'll probably claim they are Trenton's!

My guess is:

"Obviously, Zanny killed that child. Now if LE would do their jobs, the real killer can finally be brought to justice and Casey can come home where she belongs, holding her head high because she's innocent, as I've uhhh...told you guys from DAY ONE."
