Mill Valley police are seeking the public's help in finding a missing 62-year-old woman who may have been hiking on a Mt. Tamalpais trail on Sunday.

Jennifer Aranson, described as White, 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing 122 pounds, has blonde hair and blue eyes, police said.

She was last heard from on Sunday afternoon, and possibly was walking on a trail on Mt. Tam somewhere between West Blithedale Avenue in Mill Valley and Madrone Avenue in Larkspur.

Authorities said she may have been driving a White Toyota Sienna van with California plates 7NUV483.

Her facebook seems to indicate she might have been attempting to scatter ashes of her brother who passed away two years ago at various trails in the area among some other interesting recent posts.

Missing Marin Woman Found Dead

"MARIN COUNTY, CA —A Marin woman who was reported missing over the weekend has been found dead, authorities said.

The woman was identified as Jennifer Mary Aranson, 62 of Mill Valley, the Marin County Sheriff’s Office said.

Aranson did not appear to have suffered a traumatic injury and no evidence of foul play was found at the scene, the Sheriff’s Office said.

The cause of her death is under investigation, according to the Sheriff’s Office"
