In the last of the two meetings, “They were definitely yelling and screaming, big time, at each other, arguing, and Dan just wasn’t going to budge,” she said. “There was a lot of cussing. Chase wanted to wring his neck. It didn’t feel right. It was very scary. I left. I walked out. I said, ‘If my son loses his business, so be it, I need to find my family’ and I left.”

on today's testimony that just ended for morning break...the computer guy was showing a design pdf that was created 1/31/2010 on Joseph's computer, and a related phone call & text at the same approx time to Chase from Joseph making an assumption they were discussing this design...but what's weird - the computer access exhibit showing when the design was created 1/31/2010 showed that the design pdf was last *accessed* 2/5/2010. Of course the defense skipped that part. So obviously someone other than Joseph accessed it 2/5. Whether the access on 2/5/2010 was actually directly from Joseph's computer or was someone who accessed it via Joseph's google drive/google sketchup wasn't clarified though.
I have no idea what the defense is trying to prove though with any of this. ??? It's also obvious to me that the defense really didn't get to prepare very well with this witness. The testimony is very disjointed and slow going, switching back & forth between exhibits.

Okay. Is there a separate area for Charles Merritt Trial Coverage. Every time I type in trial coverage I get information that is close to 1.5 months old. What would be the best TV Website to keep up with the latest on the trial. I do not visit as much as I used to their are so many social websites now. This trial has dragged on for 3 months now it should be close to a verdict by now
That fight bothers me. It shows how little respect Dan and Chase had for Susan. IMO, they should not have been cussing and fighting and scaring a lady (Susan). It makes me sick Chase would act like that around his best friend's mother. Just goes to show how $$$ crazy the two timed felon was and what little respect he had for Susan.

My guess is the defense is trying to show that Joey was still collaborating with CM on fountain designs and therefore (implying) was not going to fire CM. IMO, I also think they are building up to also show Joey was tutoring CM on how to operate QB.
Maybe to lay a foundation for their forensic accountant to testify about Joey's business & accounting records? Just guessing.

Imo the defense is attempting to demonstrate that Joseph was still working with Chase and not getting rid of him.
Since someone accessed it 2/5/2010 and I'm assuming that would be Chase...on 2/5 Chase would not be collaborating with Joseph since he was dead already. Agree, and not good under the circumstances of the fact SB must have been very stressed about her missing family members.
But it also tells me how enraged CM could get when he was denied any further money, and seems from DK denying him any further funds, that DK was somewhat in charge of that side of things if he could tell CM he isn't getting paid any more, because he had already been paid for the job.

I also noticed the time was almost 7:00 p.m., the defense says they were only alive in the morning of the 5th, so even by their story it could not have been Joey.
