It's important to remember that this trial isn't over. Depending upon the outcome there may be future investigations. There is no statute of limitations on murder (or most crimes committed during a murder). I don't think anyone wants to be "sworn in" until this trial is settled. jmho

How much of CMs financial records have been entered? Did they produce any of his business or personal tax returns, and 1099s?

The way I understand the discovery each side turns over the discovery each one plans to use in each one's case.

So it would be up to the defense to get DKs financial records since they were the ones going to use it in their CIC.

I would have liked to have seen Merritt's 1040's along with the date(s) they were filed. Something tells me they were only filed after he was arrested.

So Merritt played paintball 12/10/2009. Big Whoop. lol I guess the defense is using this to try & prove that the DNA "transfer" in the Trooper was from that date. Joseph's waiver was dated 1/10/2009.

Who's overall agenda? Do you really think anyone is going to take the time, money and effort to sue DK when they know the well is empty and probably always will be?

I have no idea. DK would be the person to answer your question, it goes to his state of mind, whatever he believes will be the motivating factors in his decision to take the 5th. I would imagine he's on this thread, try asking him.

#McStay - Det. Hanke went to a paintball facility at Camp Pendleton Aug. 20, 2014, looking for documentation/paper waivers showing Merritt had been there. Showing on the screen now a waiver dated 12-10-09 signed by Chase Merritt

#McStay - A male jurors says he can't be here at all on May 9th, he'll be on a flight to Boise. A female juror says, laughing, "Not even for 5 mins?", which causes laughter from other jurors. Now we know how at least some jurors feel about the schedule of this trial.

Of course there's not much excitement about this revelation, because, after all it does show that Merritt, once again was telling the truth. Now if LE was unable to determine he was there, well, then it's time to celebrate.

#McStay - Maline tells the judge that he's doing the best he can with McGee out. He doesn't want the jury to blame him for the delays. McGee had asked for the trial to be continued in his absence. Maline says these were McGee's witnesses and he's doing what he can.

I never doubted that hew went paint balling with Joey as he said he did. But it is not a game changer.

It's just speculation about what DK would do if he was called to testify. However, at this point in time it appears to be a moot point.
