Just want to confirm what I believe I heard DuGal testify to: When asked if DK provided proof of his trip to Hawaii, the Detective replied that DK gave him a confirmation of a booked airline flight? Is that what everyone else heard?

He was a little wishy washy on his answer. I think he said "something like that" and that the proof of DKs location was "substantial"

hmmm was that this morning? I missed it! I hope they upload the video's tonight.

Well they're going to have to find a way of discrediting DuGal if they want the jury to think he's not being truthful or didn't bother to check it out.

Cadaver dog vs. Search and Rescue dog..........any thoughts? What I could find was one is smelling for life while the other is smelling for decomp but where would blood fit in either scenario? Would both pick up dried blood?

A Cadaver dog would smell decomp, which does include blood, Search and Rescue is for tracking a live scent.

JMO but from following other cases, this is my understanding. I have also followed the Avery case (making a murderer) and part of the problem with the cadaver dogs in the auto salvage yard was that some cars were there because they were in accidents... accidents cause blood (and deaths)... which caused the cadaver dogs to hit on multiple vehicles in the yard.

There is no point in discrediting DuGal. He was investigating what was believed to be a possible voluntary disappearance. When San Bernardino becomes involved, it is a case of four homicides. I, for one, had hoped to see/hear that DK had not only booked flights but actually was on them.

I'm with you... if there is only a piece of paper in the file that show's flights were booked... they need more than that, coming from "hacker Dan". JMO

DuGal should have been the one that requested more proof. CC statements? something more.. 4 years later, documents can be lost.

They need proof he boarded the plane as well. Anybody can book a ticket it doesn’t mean they then took the flight. So Receipts’s in Hawaii over that period he claimed he was there.

He could have given his ID to someone that looked like him and had them fly to Hawaii instead of him.

Right! Receipts... pictures.. something. Not saying they don't have it, but then show it (which the pro's didn't, even on redirect)

Looking at old posts, timelines, etc. in the last week, I recall seeing transfers from Joey to Dan for very small amounts, like $25 or $30 in the week or so before the 4th. He can afford to go to Hawaii but has to ask for those small amounts of money to live?

Cathy Russon, who is tweeting for L&C and is in the courtroom... said in chat about 10 minutes ago that the defense will be calling Dan as a witness. Meaning... the pro's won't be. This tells me the pro's know there are issues when it comes to Dan. I really want to hear his testimony.

ETA: even cell phone records would show where he was, wouldn't they?

Surely airlines keep records longer than 4 years? We're talking electronic bookings in 2010, not just paper records.
