I have a question? Law and Crime is confusing to me. How does one find today's testimony after the fact? Not live. That I can do. Website is confusing to me.
I go to you tube and search law and crime network. It’s usually put on there later

IMO, they have a tendency to leave loose ends, why call this witness and then not followup with evidence establishing it was CM who received the money? Doing so, especially, with it being so early in the trial is going to alienate the jury. else I hope the evidence they have verifying the lunch meeting is something more convincing than the booking reservation, to support the claim DK made about being in Hawaii.
What a mess
what part? LOL
I don't know, maybe there is something I was missing with that testimony, but the prosecution could have shown the witness a bank statement or something to help recollect that Geis sent the 2nd $6250 payment, and they didn't. They better hope that the defense doesn't have a $6250 payment going to DK/MM/SB unless they can show that $6250 was then sent to CM.
Right, if CM gets off he can hire the prosecution as a PR committee to help reestablish his good name. LOLI'm hoping to get other's perspective of this testimony. Right now I'm not impressed. I'm sitting here kinda shaking my head thinking the pro's just proved that CM got fountains completed (sure, not installed) and given to a customer after the McStay's went missing. And if he was doing all the work, why shouldn't he have been paid for that?
*SIGHHHHHHHH*
In their opening statement didn’t the defense claim they brought in a forensic accountant to review the financials, something the prosecution hadn’t done?
I think the prosecution is hamstrung by not having anyone to attest to the financial arrangements he had with Chase. What a mess
I think the prosecution is hamstrung by not having anyone to attest to the financial arrangements he had with Chase.
All they can do is do their best to show he was taking money from people after Joey's murder and not delivering the goods (Geis) or repaying (Susan Blake), meanwhile he was spending in the casinos. Paying money to Cathy Jarvis shows he was in trouble financially. The emails to Chase and Metro also build the picture. At least I think there was one to Metro.
Unless, the prosecution starts doing a better job of lawyering, they're going to lose what should be a slam dunk case.
They painted the picture - he didn't fulfill the contract despite receiving about $11700 and they still had to go and seize the goods at additional expense and do their own installation and assembly. If we factor in that this was Joey's company's money Chase should probably only have been paid his labour and materials/expenses, but I'm only guessing Joey wouldn't have given him 100% on that sale.BBM - But Geis did get the fountains. Granted, he didn't go and install them like I think he normally did, but we don't know the circumstances of that right now.
