THANKS!

My line of thinking at the moment is... there is a reason he didn't want money in that bank account. That's why he cashed cheques and stuff. I guess part of it could be the gambling, but I can't help but have this nagging feeling that it was because he was worried someone was going to "take" it. Which is why I was wondering if it was a bank credit card or bank loan... they can do that without a judgement if you owe them money. Otherwise there would have to be a judgement before accounts could be frozen, etc. I am wondering if this is why he opened a new bank account as well, different bank, harder to freeze funds if it was owed to BofA, or making it harder for a collector to find him.

The hospital bill... remember this is coming from a naive Canadian girl that doesn't have to pay for health care ... but do they do those types of things when you owe that much??? will they take your money from your account?

I had also googled a number that kept showing up on his cell records... it was a debt collector.
As far as the hospital charges? Takes forever but I think they start to garnish your wages? He was so slippery and hard to find I doubt they ever got a dime. JMO.

I haven't heard anything about it being an auto scan on the 8th - those were searches either typed into the search bar or selected from a pull down menu. My guess is the latter.

Those searches on the eMachine something like 6 seconds apart seems to me to be done to bury the first search so it drops down the list of most recent searches. Of course to the investigators it only drew their attention to what it was that needed to be buried.

I got that impression to Tortoise... but then if they didn't actually visit the sites, why bury it?

Well, being self employed, it's pretty hard to garnish, that's what makes me wonder if there was a judgement that allowed whatever company/hospital to garnish his bank account or freeze it.

This case is getting into my head...
I had to go to the bank today and CASH a large cheque (from the insurance company for my son's car) LOL I felt sooooooooo sketchy! Which probably made me look even sketchier LOL And all I could think was, I wonder what they are thinking hahaha

Hey folks, is there any evidence he had a heart attack and owed 100k?

And was this Summer's?
From my notes for that testimony, I have that 'Maline implies that the Dell is Summer's and the E-Machine is Joey's.'

Isn't that more towards Palm Springs, though? I was thinking maybe San Manuel.

putting my google map skills to the test :) I will be able to drive that whole area by the time this trial is done.

San Manuel does seem to be closer.

Gotcha.

I wondered, since quickbooks online was the first search, whether it didn't turn up the wanted result, ie direct entry into Joey's quickbooks application - since it may have been logged out of after its last use on Feb 4th, and so the effort was abandoned and the other searches clicked on in quick succession to bury the attempt.

I obviously think it was Merritt and I think it's possible he wanted to see if he could get into QB as the master administrator.

I thought that too but then there is a log in to QuickBooks from Device 5 (which I don't think is the eMachine) at 6.08 pm on the 4th, which I presume was Joey, so I'm still not sure which is which.

Hopefully all will become clearer as I go back through testimony I've missed.

There is a big problem with Kevin Bole's testimony in regard to placing Chase at the graves, but it's hard to show the way he presents the exhibits. Chase pings two azimuths in short succession. One azimuth: 10 has a center that is north-eastish (but mostly north); the azimuth 330 has its center north but slightly to the west. The most logical location for Chase to have pinged those two azimuths of the same tower, so close in time to each other is if he is north of the tower.

Kevin Bokes testifies at another trial that elevation can cause a cell phone to ping a tower that is geographically farther from it, then would be expected.

To me, it looks like Chase is north of the tower, probably on 1-15.

The graves are basically south-east of the tower.

yes that was what I was getting from that conversation, then they cut out for the weekend so I could not draw a conclusion.

Cell tower testimony just wrapped up for this week. What you ya think? convinced CM buried the bodies 2-5-10 between 11 Am - 2 Pm or so? Very suspicious!!! No cell tower pings from JM or SM after 2-4-10?
error on the date I wrote 2-5-10 but meant 2-6-10 but not sure how to edit this error using this forum.

Why can't they just call it a computer? Why an E Machine? Confuzzled.

I understand what you are saying. But I don't think so.

That part of the testimony, or actually Maline's cross, is confusing! I got what he was saying, but only after opening up internet explorer to see, which ironically opened to MSN Canada, I'm thinking it must be their default homepage ... I haven't used it in years. You can change the way you view your internet history, one of the options is by site. I think most are defaulted to view by date, in my experience. I included a snip... I googled quickbooks online, then microsoft office, then microsoft office templates. I also thought that back in the day if you clicked on the search box, it would pop up a list of your most recent searches, but I couldn't get IE to do that for me.

Looking at index 4, which is the google search for "quickbooks online", the url host is google. And in all of that testimony, I am pretty sure that Schroeder said that no site in those searches were clicked or visited.

This was my take on his testimony and what Maline was trying to get at.

It still doesn't answer how it happened. I really do think they will try to say that DK remote accessed the computer or computers and DK was being nosey. But that is JMO based on the questions I've heard in testimony, but no evidence of it yet and may never be. And I'm still considering that they had a power surge/flicker and both computers were shut off and came back on... but then I don't know how a computer accesses internet history or googles search history.

Well, I'm not sure it's meant to be "exclusively" Summer's or Joey's though? I still go on hubby's computer sometimes... he is afraid to touch mine haha But he has used it the odd time, for convenience or whatever reason.

Why can't they just call it a computer? Why an E Machine? Confuzzled.
It's a brand name so it distinguishes it from the other one which was a Hewlett Packard.

When this is over I hope I will never hear about QB ever again! But I have figured it out from all the posts here. Easier to figure out than DNA and that dreaded word ALLELES.
