Very true, I had my first of three strokes at age 26. It took several months for me to be able to match faces with names of friends and family. I also lost approximately a 2 year chunk of my memory. My condition has varied following each stroke and also following 2 heart attacks. I have learned not to expect my, or another's, condition to be identical subsequent to any medical catastrophe.
Really sorry to hear that you experienced this so young. That had to be very hard. I've worked with stroke victims, and it can devastate a life. You seem to be fully recovered now. Or at least mentally acute. But I agree, no two stroke victims have exactly the same reaction.
