As a juror, I might be thinking "so this is how far his family will go to help him get a "Get Outta Jail" card". IMO, she lied on the stand and felt pretty good about doing it. She was literally smug about it, IMO.

I am stalking the youtube page, will post when I see it I really want to watch it again... I was only half listening, and I should know by now not to take Cathy's tweets as truth either. She has one tweet that said she was talking about her cats and dogs, and I recall Smith saying she was talking to the cats and dogs in her yard during the interview. Sometimes one word changes the whole meaning of it LOL

I was also watching chat around that time because someone was claiming to be Chase's daughter... @geevee saw that I'm sure ;-) I was interested to see what she would say lol

Old medical person here. I never buy into these medical excuses. Memory loss from having stents, drooling or being on meds. All BS, IMO.

Was Juanita on the defense's list of witnesses? Maybe the prosecution called her in order to discredit her potential testimony of "my handsome brother was visiting me" during the murders and/or burial.

Actually there is. I posted some docs earlier on the thread. But investigators got his medical records, and records have been requested again, recently by the defense.

If Chase has lied about his medical status do you not think the DA would have brought this up?

Exactly! So if we throw out her testimony, then we have to take the two timed felon at his word when he says he was visiting.

It actually makes sense that he visited her. That family appears to be very close.

No it's not uncommon for post stroke patients to have pain.

I thought she said she had recent (to the interview?) back surgery and a pulmonary embolism or multiple embolisms. But I don't recall if she said or was asked exactly when it was (or if it was a glitch time lol). Her strokes were before 2010 is my understanding. Some people recover well from a stroke, some don't. Some have lasting medical issues, some don't.
