If Karlie made it to the 6 & disappeared what can Mono county do. It is my feeling that most posters feel the parents are guilty of something. So, where is her body. When did they remove her from the house. Will further searches find her. How did she die.
That's a very good question. If we believe that the stepmom took her sons out of the house around 5:30 am she would then have from then until around 9:30 am (?) when they reported Karlie missing. So that's a long time to be able to dispose of someone.
And her reports of damage to her Toyota Corolla from going over "boulders" looking for Karlie certainly suggests she was off road at some point.
But too much is unknown.
Where would they put her? All those searches and nothing was found.
The fact is, no head start from LE would change the outcome of a cadaver dog search. Either they can detect remains or they can't. Its not fool proof but getting a 20 minute heads up isn't going to change the outcome. Cadaver dogs detected nothing.
We would need to know exactly when she took her sons from the house.
We would also need to know the exact time the child was reported missing.
Then, how far can a Toyota go in that anount of time? What radius?
But we don't have that info and are unlikely to.
