Family seeks help finding missing Whittier man – Whittier Daily News

Relatives of a Whittier man who has been missing since Tuesday, Dec. 11, asked for the public’s help in finding the 22-year-old.

“He just doesn’t disappear without contacting us,” Keanu Gummig’s sister, Alisia, said.

Keanu Gummig told his grandmother he was going for a walk and left his home on Flomar Drive, off Gunn Avenue, around 3 p.m. on Tuesday, according to his mother, Olivia Gummig. She said he left his wallet and cell phone behind. His ID and bank card aren’t in the wallet.

He hasn’t been seen since. His family filed a missing person report with Whittier police on Dec. 12.

Olivia Gummig said her son has not gone missing before. She noticed he has been depressed.

On 12/11/18 at about 3:00pm, Keanu Gummig was last seen leaving home from the 14400 block of Dittmar Dr., in the CIty of Whittier. When he left he indicated he was "stepping out" and never returned. He is known to frequent Turnbull Canyon and Murphy Ranch Park.

Keanu is described as a 22-year-old Male White, 6’1” Tall, 185 lbs., Blonde Hair, Blue Eyes. If he is located, please contact Whittier PD Dispatch at 562-567-9240 #whittierpd
